Im writing this review from a time I went in about a year ago. I was new into firearms and admittedly I made some mistakes. I was opening my handgun out of the case I and very foolishly had it pointed away from the range. The safety officer quickly seen me and addressed the issue. After fixing the problem they even helped me with loading it and firing it. I really believe their understanding and professionalism really helped me get into this hobby. Looking back on it now if they had asked me to leave I would totally understand why, but they didn't. They helped me with the issue. All in all it's a good range with friendly employees.

Nice place. 1 staff member was nice the other not so much. But we didn't let that ruin our time.

Great range. Too bad the staff is moronic. My buddy and I go shooting often at a different range. I just recently moved to Jeff so this range is closer. We went up to the counter, told the guy we were going to shoot. He took our ID's, checked my ammo, had my buddy watch a first timers video...all good so far. He tells me "I got you guys in lane x." I tell him we want separate lanes. With an attitude, he replies with "well you should've told me that in the beginning." I should've told you? Isn't that something YOU'RE supposed to ask as part of your job instead of assuming?Anyway, moving on...i have EVERYTHING; ammo, pistols, hearing and eye protection, etc. I just asked for a couple of targets. My buddy just has his weapons. He needs everything, hearing protection, ammo, targets, etc. The guy rings in everything together and tries to charge me $150 for both of us. I tell him that he should only charge us individually for the items that we each got. So he splits it down the middle. Why am I paying for part of my buddies ammo and stuff when I have everything? I should only be charged a range fee and targets. When I mentioned to him that it was wrong of him to do, he replied with "well that's how we do it here." Umm, it's not because this was my 4th time there. BUT I DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING. I just let it go.I must have had a "look on my face" because I was irritated and typically wear my emotions on my sleeve. That being said, I'm being very quiet and to myself. So he decides to call me out on the look on my face. Commenting about my"sour look." Needless to say, it was all downhill from there. We end up in a verbal exchange. I tell him to refund our money. He struggles with the POS system for nearly 20 minutes saying "it won't let me do it." He calls someone for help, then tells me that it's now refunded. I ask for a receipt proving it was refunded. He tells me that there is no receipt. I tell him that's impossible as all POS systems print out either a voided check our refund receipt. He assures me the refund is complete. I demand proof. So he struggles with the POS system for another 10 minutes or so. Then I suggest that he call the same guy as before to recruit help. He finally calls and walks the person on the phone through everything and of course, our refund hadn't gone through. Thank goodness I didn't take that idiots word for it. They ended up giving us cash. That guy is of low intelligence and shady. There are way too many great shooting ranges around to deal with this garbage.

I have been attending the American Shooters Pistol League. This is from beginners to the advanced. They have different scenarios at each event. You will be shooting at different targets that require movement, you will shoot in low light or no light which will require you to have a flashlight on hand or on your pistol, you could be shooting while sitting down then having to get up and move towards another target. You will be drawing from your holster while concealed. All these are very important practices to have for real case scenarios instead of just shooting at a standstill target, which is what we all do while shooting at an inside range. You will be scored, but it's all educational, fun, and in a very friendly and welcoming environment. The next event will be in June. If interested in the events, reach out to them by phone or FB.

Nice facility. Like the automatic targets.Place isn’t that friendly to those who can’t stand for extended periods. Or at least the little bald guy running the place.Asked for a chair and quickly learned no chairs allowed, even though it was OK before covid. Also, I was the only one there. They showed me the handgun stand and said it’s more stable than a bag, lol. So I had to get on my knees on the concrete in order to shoot the 22 rifle and dial in my scope. Could barely get up off the floor as my knees were locked up from the concrete.Won’t go back if I need to shoot a rifle. Great for pistol and if you want to go shoot in a pinch. Main guy running the place should cater more to older people who have much more $$$ to spend. Letting the only person in the empty place use a simple chair isn’t a lot to ask for.

By far the best range in Kentuckiana, friendly staff. Excellent lanes with multiple scenarios to train on. Nice selection of rental firearms. Worth my hour drive to shoot.

They make you have your rifle in a case or bag before coming into the range. Walked in like any other range with my rifle unloaded and chamber open but they turned us away because we don't have range bags. Bunch of pussies. go somewhere else.
