What kind of random time is 8:30 in the morning to open? Huge inconvenience. This place needs normal hours like any other business.

We need a new mail lady. We have a box (with a note on it) on our porch specifically for packages to go in so the dogs don’t tear them up. How come UPS, FedEx, and Amazon are the only ones that listen and put our packages in the box? And what really makes me the most angry is that she flies down our driveway kicking up the gravel. I don’t feel like filling the holes with more gravel for a second time because of this. She’s ruined our landscaping coming down the driveway. I also fear for the lives of my barn cats who like to explore the outdoors. I swear she’s going to run one of my babies over. ?

Always a good experience in the many years I have used and visited this post office , laughing at the other posts. If you can't read the hours of operation sign and plan around it or buy a larger mailbox, move to another country, please.

Unfortunately, because it's the only post office, the people of Churubusco are left at the mercy of this USPS office. I had on 2 separate occasions, less than a month apart, packages SHOVED/crushed into our mailbox. These said packages were to large and left exposed to thieves and rain... And it did rain and soak a package. No one else in the world is allowed to do their job halfway, why should the postal service? You wouldn't want the McDonald's server to say, "Sorry. I didn't feel like cooking your burger, but it's in a bun," or a doctor to say, "Well, I got your appendix out, but I don't feel like closing your belly." Also, the hours are unpredictable and incredibly inconvenient. Always "closed" during lunch hour... When business people go to the post office... To mail things. Why would you close during peak business hours? Typical government entity I guess. Are you okay with this? I don't think so. I don't think so.

It seems that the most common, convenient times I can make a run to this post office they are closed. Today (Saturday) at 11:01 I walked in to ship some packages and the office was locked. Within the time it took to walk back to my car and get ready to leave, disappointed again, literally FIVE other people pulled up and started to walk in to send their packages. I saved them the trip in and told them they close at 11 on Saturday, which lead to a confused disappointed look on each of their faces. I find it interesting that they also close at lunch time during the week- when most people have a minute on their break to run errands to the post office. I always end up having to go to a Fort Wayne location or UPS/FedEx to get anything accomplished. I feel that this location does not serve their community's needs well at all. (This is nothing against the hard working employees!)
