Wouldn’t give it one start I had my van towed to him he know the timing belt needed replaced and instead of fixing it he drove it around town for a hour n half and blew every value and every gasket in my van now my van is junk and needs a new motor he had my van for 3 weeks and it was excuse after excuse why he didn’t fix it asap made me miss 3 weeks of work and lose money

A Huge Thank You for repairing the exhaust on my Xterra! It's never been this quiet! I didn't have an appointment but you squeezed me in. Since it's my only means of transportation you gave me a ride home and came and picked me up when my truck was done! Quality Service, Great Pricing, and 5 Star treatment! I bought a used truck in January of 2022. On the way home from the dealer, the exhaust pipe broke. I contacted a couple of repair shops in and near Chesterton. Very expensive and a few weeks before they could look at. Just look at it mind you not fix it, just LOOK.A friend recommended Duneland Exhaust. I didn't have an appointment, I just drove up to their shop. Chris repaired the exhaust within the hour. No problems with it since.I went to a tire store to get the tires rotated. The tire store refused to work on my truck. Someone had installed a lift kit improperly. I went back to Duneland Exhaust. They basically replaced the front end in 2 days. And the price was very reasonable.I highly recommend Duneland Exhaust. Chris and Jamie are wonderful to work with.If you need work done on your vehicle, go to Duneland Exhaust, They will take care of you honestly, economically and in a timely manner.

Husband went to him thinking he was gonna actually get someone to fix his exhaust. Paid 280.00 for it to be fixed and a few weeks later muffler is back where we first started. Husband talked to owner and he agreed to make good on it and fix it right . After repeated times of coming down there at owners request to fix the problem, he kept telling him to come back another time . Made several appts. Never showed up or told him he didn’t have time . This place is a joke ! Beware , of this place just one big headache and a big rip off! Horrible customer service!!( This has been going on since August of 22)Service: Exhaust

i was charged by Chris for the work that wasn't done . a day after replacement of a part , i went back and told him that my car still have the same problem and he replied , ' the part was bad' with no hesitation and thinking !! he was talking so fast and nonsense that i left and i never go back to that place.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Chris is always fair and honest. Took me several years to find an excellent, honest and reasonably priced auto repair shop in this area. Tried several and was unhappy for one reason or another. One shop used bad oil which resulted in a blown engine while out of state visiting grandchildren. Happily, I can say this would NEVER happen on Chris' watch!Services: General repairs & maintenance
