Recently my 17 year old cat got very sick, and Dr. Julie Hyslop was everything I could have wished for as a vet. Dr. Julie was compassionate, patient and listened to help me make the best decisions for my beloved feline.

Don't believe the negative reviews. We have been bringing our animals here for years. During Covid of course things were screwy. Trying to help sick animals while following guidelines while being understaffed is hard. Anyway, the last 2 times we had issues with our pets they squeezed us in, including having to let our dog go. The staff is kind as could be. They could tell our pup was nervous, they showered him with attention that he soaked up. They were extremely sensitive to our needs before, during, and after. We were warned about what may happen and to not worry. At no time did we feel rushed with him. We were given as much time as we needed. I wish I could give the more stars. The treat your pet like their own. You won't find a greater vet in Porter County. I assure you that one.
