Staff is very friendly and attentive to each person they come in contact with! Dr. Thompkins is a gentleman and a scholar. He’s not aftaid to try different options to treat the pain you maybe experiencing at that time. He has great bedside manner and very friendly. I would recommend this place and Dr. Thompkins to my friends and family.

On October 17 Dr Tompkins had to do a procedure on me. He made sure I was extremely comfortable and even came to see me before and after the surgery to make sure that I was comfortable and relaxed. He has the greatest bedside manner I have seen in a long time And I’m 63 years old. I will never see another doctor for any of my surgeries that Dr Tompkins can handle. He’s so pleasant and always makes you comfortable as a professional.

Dr. Thompkins is not only a wonderful doctor, but a wonderful physician. He explains things clearly, includes the patient in making choices on what they want to do about their diagnosis and treatment plan. Dr. Thompkins is a man of integrity and compassion.

Love Dr. Thompkins amd LSBJ! My entire experience with everyone there has been great! I actually matter and they actually care! Dr. Thompkins explains everything so I can understand, he has compassion, and is patient, as well as very professional and awesome at his job! I would highly recommend!

Excellent Dr. and excellent staff. I had a serious spine issue that would have paralyzed me from the neck down. After surgery Dr. Thompkins has been dedicated to making sure I get all the therapy I need to get my life back to normal.

Doctor shows great concern in getting the right diagnosis before a treatment plan. Getting mri right away within a week then back in a week! Thats great for me.

Dr. Thompkins answers all your questions and explains your MRI’s and X-rays. He takes the time to ensure you understand and doesn’t rush you out of the room like some other doctors do. Patient and patience.

Dr. Thompkins’ expertise, excellent bedside manner and ability to listen to my concerns as a patient is immeasurable. He helped decipher if/when surgical intervention would be necessary. He also educated me on what to expect and allowed me (the patient) make a final decision. I commend his entire LBJ on excellent continuity of care and their ability to respond to my needs in a very timely manner.

Dr. Thompkins put a rod in my back to stabilize my spine. Now I might have to have surgery on my neck, and I wouldn't have any other doctor in Indiana or Illinois (Chicago) do the surgery. Having been an R.N., I think I'm a good judge of doctors and who's good. Dr Thompkins is the Best.

Dr Thompkins is a premier spinal surgeon that I would recommend above all others. He put me back together again over 20 years ago and I would do it all over again without question. He is a great surgeon and an even better person.
