Mike Kerr at Fitness Premier in Cedar Lake is an awesome trainer! Pushes you hard, very knowledgeable in both weight training and nutrition! Highly recommend him if you’re looking for a change to be healthier!

Fitness premier is my second home ! It’s my place to go for mental and physical wellness ! Josh and Sarah are amazing at helping to motivate you in your diet and exercise and all around wellness goals. Team training can not be beat. I have been working out for 25 years and this is by far my favorite gym home and staff , we are a family and the support we get is priceless come join us you won’t be sorry ??

Bathrooms and locker rooms are regularly dirty and unsanitary. They have constant plumbing issues. Also the customer service from the GM is very poor. Very unfortunate as this location has so much more potential. Membership cancelled.

Thought I was agreeing to a month-to-month payment schedule. After I canceled my membership, they claimed I was under contract and had to pay substantial additional sums. I was never aware of any such contract. Don't be duped!I continue to be harassed by collectors for funds I do not owe. The latest is an intimidating email from their collection firm.

First off, don’t try calling here. No one answers the phone, ever. I tried calling numerous times to find out what was needed in order to cancel a membership. I ended up calling another location and they explained that I needed to go to the gym in order to cancel. I drove to cedar lake fitness premium. I stood at the check in counter for about 15mins when another member approached me, informing me no one has been up there for a good 30mins, or so. She offered to text the owner and did so. The owner told this member to tell me to go find the daycare lady. I did that (she was hands down did her best) then she explained that she’s not trained to do this, she text the owner, and he now told her that I need to cancel online. I left and a short time later I got a text from the owner saying my membership had been cancelled. I posted a one star review at that point. A couple days later the owner text me again saying he credited my last month and asked me to take the review down, or edit it. Well, the guy helped me out, so I took it down. A couple weeks later (currently) I get charges from fitness premier for a membership. I ended up calling multiple times to get this straightened out, but again, no answer. I had to call the bank and I spent 35mins on the phone opening a dispute and was informed by the bank, that if they don’t cancel my membership, I will have to change my card number.Long story short, good luck canceling your membership.There’s plenty of other gyms in the area that I would try before I go here
