These people actually laugh at you when you ask questions and then have the nerve to tell you that you talk too much. Yes, this true. Stay away! I'll keep posting to help those who have been treated like I have. They obviously, are not professional and could care less about your pet. To them, it's just another animal, nothing more. Those who have had good experiences, it is just a matter of your next visit. Then, they'll laugh after you leave with your dead baby. Yes, I have the right clinic. I use my nickname so that you don't lash out at me. I'm telling everyone, this wasn't just a bad experience.

I waited with my dog for 33 minutes in a small room at Woodland. My dog is 10 years old and usually happy and calm. He was pacing and stressed--we could hear dogs relentlessly barking and whining at the business next door. We inquired about it and were told Woodland owns a dog daycare next door. From there, it was as if the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing at this business. My dog has not been the same since. He is highly anxious. We will not be back.

I have a senior dog who needs special handling, and the groomer there was fantastic. Not only did she do a good job of grooming him, but she was patient with him and handled him gently. I'm very happy.

Woodland Animal Hospital is an excellent place for veterinary services. I knew after bringing my cat there the first time that I would not go anywhere else! They are extremely kind, patient, and understanding and the staff always seems to go above and beyond. I highly recommend them! :)

Woodland has been phenomenal for me and my kitty since I moved up to the area. I've had her vaccinated, all routine checkups done multiple times, and unfortunately had to have her front paws fixed up. Her previous family had her declawed at a different place and the other vet botched the surgery. (Please don't declaw your cats, folks.) Woodland's team was able to identify that she still had leftover bone fragments from this horrible procedure and corrected the issue with surgery. They made the recovery process as easy as possible and my feline friend hasn't had any paw issues since.I can't recommend Woodland enough.

STOP AND READ THIS IF YOU HAVE A NERVOUS/ANXIOUS PUP!!!!I wish I had found WAH sooner. I was referred here for grooming services, but after understanding their fear free approach I ended up bringing him for his general wellness care as well. I am SO glad I made the switch. My dog is extremely nervous and reactive when he feels threatened. He entered the facility barking and lunging at everyone, but they all knew exactly how to interact with him to put him at ease. It is also helpful that the front desk is really high and my dog wasn't able to see anyone until they calmly and slowly came around the corner. WAH has been the only facility who truly understands and shows compassion towards both my dog (and even me)! I felt shamed by previous vet for his behaviors, but I am doing everything I can to help him become successful and overcome his triggers. The staff has really gone above and beyond to work below my dog's trigger threshold in order to make the experience as pleasant as possible so that he has a positive association with people and the facility. I really can't rave enough about how great everyone is at Woodland Animal Hospital. I highly recommend bringing your dog here for wellness care and/or grooming!!!!!

This place came highly recommended by a Co-worker. My current vet was unable to handle the giant breeds. I have a female Saint Bernard that I needed spayed and a gastroplexy done. Both the doctors at this hospital assisted in her surgeries. My baby did well and thanks to them alive and healing!! I cannot thank them enough for helping. I was so worried about my girl but she is great and healing and they even helped me put her surgical suit on her before leaving after her follow up 2 days later. This is such a great place. Everyone is so wonderful and treated us so well! This is truly a 5 star place!! Thanks soo much ❤️

Horrible place. Avoid it all together. Our daughter's13 year old dog had chronic kidney disease . We decided it would be time to put the dog down if he lost bladder control. He did not, but we had to carry him in and outside because he could no longer go up steps. He had good and bad days. We decided it was best to let him go too soon than too late. We made the decision and took him in. The vet told us we needed to put the dog on a pain regimen. I said no, this dog has had enough. Then she came back with a paper that said I was no longer able to care for the animal and I would be turning it over to them. They said the groomer wanted the dog. The dog was not well and did not need to suffer. I said no, the dog needs to go down. I should have left right then. They took the dog and would not even look at me. This was a tough decision and to be treated rude was uncalled for. I was amazed. I paid and left. I told my wife about the situation and she said the dog had never been groomed, how could the groomer even know the dog? I called back and they told me the groomer knew the dog from us boarding it there. We never had. I asked if they had actually put the dog down. I was to yes and they hung up. Making this decision was difficult. We loved the dog and could not stand to watch him suffer. To have this type of treatment trying to do what was in the dogs best interest was insane. I will continue to tell others never to go to this place.

Awesome in so many ways!! They were able to get us in quickly even though many other facilities said no. After being told during the booking of appointment that the doctor may not be able to see our dog until later, the vet saw him right away. During our cross-country travels, this is the second time they were able to get us even as new clients!! This is a well-maintained facility with friendly and very accommodating staff. The doctor was awesome and they even got our other dog in for a last minute toenail trim. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Enact policies which allow for animals with fear-based aggression to thrive while at vet appointments.
