I tried to deposit money in the ATM here and it did not register that I put anything in, so it took my money and then my card. I called the branch and talked to Dee Herring, the branch manager. She sent me an affidavit to fill out, which I did and sent back to her. She then proceeded to ignore me for months after, as I sent countless follow up emails requesting information on my case, with absolutely zero responses from her. By far the most unprofessional branch manager I have ever interacted with. Avoid this branch at all costs.

The new website and mobile app are a big step backward in usability and ease of use. The new website is slower to load. And harder to search for past transactions or view them since they add a ton of unneeded white space. As an IT and UX person, I have no idea why TCU changed it, and it is not clear what new features or improvements were supposed to be.

Hi! This is actually for the new E Carmel Dr location since I am not seeing it on Google yet to add my review. I'm not sure of his name (I believe it was Ty if I remember correctly?), however the gentleman that helped me today 6/6 was fantastic! I came in upset due to a misunderstanding and he was extremely helpful and patient until I was able to understand. I've been to this new location a few times now and it has always been helpful! Please share this with that team, thank you!

Staff was very friendly at Grand Opening! However, it has been all bad since then. I tried my new Debit Card at Kroger. . .did not work! It took 7 minutes for different Kroger employees to get the card to work. They said Kroger and Master Card are having a dispute and I will continue to have trouble. Today I tried the card again at Kroger. More trouble and more of my time wasted! Same story. . . dispute between Kroger and Master Card. However, finally someone from the service desk discovered a way to get the card to work. Are you ready for this. . . insert the card (BACKWARDS) and wait 2 seconds: pull out card: insert the card a second time(BACKWARDS) and wait 2 seconds: pull out card: insert the card a third time (BACKWARDS) and wait 2 seconds: pull out card: now slide the card using the strip and push the bottom, right button. It worked!!!!!!!!!!! Although I was tired of this entire snafu, I purchased another item, so I could try this nonsense myself. Yep! It worked!!!!!!!! However, life is too short to follow this routine as the line of customers grows behind me! TCU, what's up with this card?

No longer a bank that's willing to work with other credit unions through shared branching.

Nick and Ty were both great today. I got a new loan through TCU, and needed help with a few things. They took care of everything for me. I really appreciate their help and professionalism.

Closed my account after they changed their policy to require members to pay their arbitration costs and legal fees. Really? I hold credit unions to a higher standard. They also posted the incorrect interest to my account and also failed to tell me about a premium money market account. That was enough. When I called on arbitration, they said the new policy was to "encourage" members not to go to arbitration. I get that. Who else has such an anti-consumer policy.

Teachers Credit Union is one of the better "banks" in Carmel. Stephanie is always such a pleasure to see it makes my day!

LOVE my Carmel TCU branch!! Even though I have moved out of the area, I've kept them as my bank. Plus, now with electronic banking, you can do your banking from anywhere! The staff is always professional, helpfully and friendly. I've banked there for about 20 years and when I'm back in town, I always stop by for an "in person" transaction. Dee Herring the manager is great too and very knowledgeable!

I've been with TCU several years. I've never had a bad experience but I needed to open a new account Friday & I'm not well versed doing things online. Stephanie Lay @ the Carmel location was beyond helpful! I'm not sure if she will see this review but I hope her superior's know that Stephanie is the absolute best & it was a pleasure meeting her! Thank you for taking the time to read my post.
