Prices are the highest in town!!!! Don’t believe the “we pay more” statement. Everyone in the industry knows how much dealers pay for Glocks. $100-$200 over msrp on items. Shop around. Staff is .

Just had to leave a review about how awesome Ethan and the rest of the staff are here at Pinnacle. Ethan was very informative with us and was very friendly throughout the whole process. At the end of the day I left with 2 new handguns at an awesome price and couldn't be happier. Can't wait to see them again!

Summary: Front sight has been replaced, which was the main goal. Unfortunately, I had to buy two and I was charged double from the original quote for the replacement. Background: I believe I am a fair and understanding person and I wanted to share my experience at Pinnacle Firearms. I went in the shop looking to get a front sight replaced on my Ruger SR1911, it broke randomly while shooting. Now, I have completed 2 full assembly AR builds, and I am familiar with basic gunsmithing. I did attempt to change the front sight myself but ended up breaking the sight I originally bought, so I looked for a professional.I arrived at Pinnacle and found the gentleman I first met to be slightly bothered by my questions but warmed up fairly quickly. I asked if they would be able to help me replace the front sight, and he said it was not a problem. He mentioned they “normally just charge $30 for that”. I asked if they had any front sights in stock, and they did not. He recommended I order the sight because I would avoid any extra markups if they ordered (I appreciate that honesty). There are a handful of options for 1911 front sights, and he said “any novak sight will work”.I ordered a $60 novak sight and brought it back to them. He went to the back to start and I left the shop to return in a couple hours. I decided to leave my gun bag with him to keep everything together; I keep my 1911 and two magazines together (8 round and 7 round). When I came back, he said there ended up being some challenges because the novak sight I had bought was actually a low-profile novak when looking at the fine print. Remember, he stated “any novak sight will work”. He ended up trimming the sight and jamming it into the groove (pictures provided). Because of the extra time spent it was $60 now, and he acknowledged it was higher than the original $30. He stated he “stands behind his work” and if the sight didn’t work, he would fix it without charging me again. I reluctantly paid and brought the gun home.Once home, I held the gun and inspected the sight. When I touched it, the sight wiggled and with little force I was able to slide the sight out of the groove; not good. From the pictures, you can see the sight was now damaged and I could not return it and you can see gaps all around the sight. At this point, I just want a sight that works! So, I ordered a new $60 sight that was from a SR1911 website and emailed the company to confirm. The sight arrived and I went back to Pinnacle. The gentlemen recognized me and went to work putting the, now correct, sight on the gun. After some time, he finishes and now it will work great (pictures of final sight included). So, if you’ve kept a tally, I bought a $60 sight that was damaged, paid $60 for the repair, and bought a second sight for $60. $180 at the end is a lot more than $90 (one sight and install). Now, I can recognize that 1911 front sights are not as common of a repair, and they seem to do a lot of AK gunsmithing. I can also recognize that there is human error, but this seemed like a cluster for an easy repair. I don’t plan to return, and I urge you to research what you need before visiting. They did have high quality guns for sale, so if you want to buy a gun I believe they carry nice product. If you have an AK to repair, I would bet they do a good job. But my experience was not what I would’ve hoped.

I did not like their gunsmith. The store and products were nice. The staff other than the gunsmith were nice.

Great experience today with the team at Pinnacle. They helped me sort out a bunch of questions about muzzleloading. I really appreciated their expertise and generosity, and I will be back.

Good little shop but prices are high and they won't give you an itemized receipt for your gun purchase, just a cash register receipt that says you paid XXX amount. If you want to buy a gun from them that's fine, just check prices elsewhere first.

My first trip to this store I ended up walking out with a beautiful hand forged knife for a gift… and thus began loyalty. I had a few projects and one that required gunsmithing work. I found their staff to be very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I ended up transferring and purchasing a couple firearms, completing everything necessary for class III items, and even had cerakote work done in a short amount of time. Work was excellent, prices were fair, and timelines were met. All in all great shop!
