Terrible service. If you can’t afford to have someone answer a phone and deal with your customers, you should not be in business. Kiosks and automated menus are a complete cop out on your part.

Sometimes the wait can be long, but they can also be short-staffed for how many people are wanting to get in. I have watched people who are waiting be incredibly rude, self-important, and even downright threatening to the staff due to wait times, and the staff have always handled it with grace and kept calm. I give them big credit for that. I did have a vein blown out pretty badly by one blood drawer, but I honestly think the stress of the mob in the waiting room was causing him to feel rushed. Advice to anyone going to this lab: They are doing their best. Calm down. Make sure you have carved out time to wait patiently. Bring a book. And, be nice to the people just trying to do their job.

I'll avoid going here at all costs from here on out. I called ahead and was advised just to do a walk in instead of an appointment, so I did. I waited 35 minutes (my estimated wait time was 20 minutes) with no one calling me back. I asked the front desk if they had an idea how much longer I might need to wait, and the front office staff member informed me I should've made an appointment if I wanted faster service - despite being advised to do the exact opposite when I called in earlier that day. The staff member shrugged and informed me I'd probably be waiting "a good long time yet." Because that's what happens to walk ins, according to them. I eventually had to leave to get back to work without ever being called back. It was so frustrating and defeating to waste a lunch hour on all this. If you'd like to go somewhere we the staff are professional and friendly, this isn't the place for you.

This was one of the worst medical experiences I have ever had. The nursing staff that I encountered was cold, disrespectful and not kind. I was there to get blood work done for my 3 year old daughter! We were there right when the doors opened and had about a 25 min wait which turned into an hour long experience.My daughter has clearly not had blood work done before seeing that she is only 3! The nurse did not welcome us with any kind words or a sense of safety as I myself was a little anxious on behalf of my daughter. During the actual blood draw and time in the lab the nurse did no speak a single word to my daughter. She seems annoyed and angry that she had to “put up” with a crying 3 yr old. My daughter was clearly unhappy which most small children would be but there was no support or kindness spoken to me or my daughter from our nurse. The only thing she said say were snarky remarks about my daughters response.I would not EVER recommend this place to any one i know, I also will inform many of my friends in the medical industry about my experience and not to referral their patients to this location.

We had appointment for 8:45 and someone came in with a appointment for 9:45 and they took him first. What’s the reason for having to have a appointment? People who walked in were also taken before us. Very disappointing.

I went for a blood draw at this location due to possible thyroid disease, 5 days later my doctor still has not received the result. After several phone calls, my doctor finally receive 1 test out of 6 different tests ordered. When asked where the rest of the tests were, their unprofessional and ignorance answer was “we don’t know why those tests were not done” and ask me to come back for another blood draw. I went for the blood tests NOT out of FUN!! The symptoms are painful and the doctor will need to see the blood tests before prescribing ANY medication, It is that simple, what can't you understand?? Now because of these incompetent people working for this company, I might have to wait for another 5 days before anything can be done regarding my symptoms. You are playing with people’s lives! Can’t you people actually READ the doctor’s order and follow thru?? You are dealing with people’s lives NOT flipping burgers! You could not even get a job at McDonald's since they sure would want to have the order done right.

I used to get great service from this location. However this week was greeted by a very uncaring and even rude receptionist who acted like he really didn't want to be there.

I usually get my blood drawn in the morning because I have to fast. So I'm there between 8 and 9 am. Since they moved to the first floor, they seem to be doing a brisk business and could use some additional phlebotomists. (The wait is what lost them a star.) The wait time has become longer. However, the women there have always been very nice, very professional and have done a great job drawing my blood. I never take more than ten minutes, but my task is pretty straight forward. I am going again tomorrow, so I will check it out again, but I've been going for years and they have always been terrific.

They have a new way of checking in with a computer screen outside the main window. Amanda who was at the window was pleasant in her greeting and to the eye.;) Had to wait a bit, but with a few in line it wasn't bad. Better here than 146th.

I always get great service from this Mid America Lab location. I live closer to another location, but this is the one I prefer.
