I set an appointment online. When I signed in the computer said the wait if you had an appointment was 8 minutes. 30 minutes later I went up to the window and was told that they had an issue with online appointments and it did not show I had an appoint. They did take me right back. When I called today because after 2 weeks my lab work was not sent to my doctor and they told the doctors office that they didn't have any information on me. On the message it says you cannot make appointments over the phone. The lady signed me in and was to take my blood was obviously totally lost and had no idea what she was doing. I am guessing that is why the do not have my lab work. One bright spot was who I assume was the manager. She was great and knowledgeable.

I was taken care of right on time & the transaction handled promptly & painlessly. The staff is courteous, friendly & efficient. Covid precautions are observed. Thank you, MACL, for making my visit the best it could be.

i am very upset with this company. I care for my elderly Mother who is bedridden and has a catheter. She gets a urine tract infections quite often. On October 5th, my Mother's nurse collected a urine sample from my Mother's catheter due to strong urine smell and dark urine. It was obvious she had an infection. She took it to the hospital and requested a rush on it. My Mom gets seizures if the infection gets bad. On October 7th, we got the urine results which revealed E. coli in the urine which is bad. It is obvious that a culture needed to be ran. In past, this company took it upon themselves when they would run a culture even though it was requested by the Nurse. As of 10/13/2021, we have not heard from Mid-America Clinic Laboratories regarding the culture and the type of antibiotic needed. The nurse put my mom on a broad-spectrum antibiotic until the results come in. The nurse called to see if even a culture was ran and rep was very short with her and advised yes and waiting on results. Rep then hung up on her. My Mother's doctor even called and they did not even call him back. It only takes three days for culture results and it has been over a week. She is almost done with the broad-spectrum antibiotic and don't even know if this is the right one. If she has a seizure and goes to the hospital, there is going to be a problem especially if she gets the COVID 19 while there. On October 12th, her doctor requested their company check the urine and now we have to waiting another week for results I attempted to contact them myself and left on hold for over an hour and had to hang up due to other calls. It served no purpose to leave a message since to date, October 14, 2020, they have not returned our Nurse’s or doctor’s call nor do we have the RESULTS!!!!!!

The ladies working there were extremely nice and very competent. I’m usually a fairly hard stick and the person who helped me got it with no problem the first time. My only complaint is that they only have 3 patient rooms so tend to get behind schedule with all the walk ins. The appointments were running at least 30 minutes behind and I waited 90 minutes as a walk in (website listed a 20 minute wait) when I arrived 15 minutes after opening.

I waited for almost 2 hours for blood work. This is unacceptable as I know the entire staff also said they would not wait that long for blood work for themselves..... hire more staff.

I’ve been twice. This is by appointment only due to Covid . Each time I and everyone else in the room with appointments have had to wait over an hour, for something that takes two minutes to complete .

I would not even give 1 star. The staff here is rude. Due to pandemic, my mom's been having to get blood work done, at least twice a week for past 2 months. By now they know what we are coming in for. I take time off from work to bring her in, wait well over 30 mins before she's taken back; they have turned us around twice because they "don't have an order, it's 5pm and we are closing. How can I possibly resolve this or call the doctor's office at 5p?! I checked in at 415p for an appointment at 420pm and you don't announce to us that you do not have an order until 450p. Had you mentioned it at 415p when I checked in, I would have had ample time to get an order faxed over. Unfortunately I'm stuck with this lab until her doctor shifts over to Riverview Health! Horrible customer service!

Interesting to see progressive services such as self requested labs, but a distinct disappointment that the results visible to the call center contact on a Monday are not available in a customer email until “5 to 7” days. Poor service. How much time can email take?

After looking at the reviews of other Mid Americas, I decided to go to this one. It seems I am so glad I did. Warmly greeted professional staff. Was brought in in a timely manner and no pain or problems at all taking blood. Also billed my insurance correctly. Overall very polite and professional.

My husband had his blood drawn Aat 13121 Olio road on August 20, 2019. We never received the test results for over two weeks. They told us that the proper forms were not filled out, which was a lie. The results came in by bits and pieces after our doctor kept calling them. They never even did the PSA test which was ordered and was the most important as my husband has a history of this in his family. They admitted that it was on the form to be drawn, but they just did not do it. They did not send us a bill, but charged our master card for a test that was to have been covered under preventive care. The people at this lab obviously do not take the drawing of blood seriously and only after many calls were we able to get the results. I am not even sure if they were my husband's test results - it took so damn long. Long story short - DO NOT RELY ON THEM FOR ANY BLOODWORK. We now have to go to another hospital for a test that should have been done a month ago. The people I spoke with were somewhat rude and definitely sounded incompetent. NEVER AGAIN!

Wonderful
