Great service and prices at Mears! I wanted to get my brakes checked before winter and I had a feeling they'd need some work but turns out they were completely shot. They replaced everything and a great price. It's such a peeve of mine when auto shops don't know when to draw the line with extra services, and luckily they was not my experience here! They did a check on my whole vehicle and made recommendations but didn't push after I let them know what I did and didn't want. Brakes are doing great so far

Good place for your vehicles most demanding maintenance needs. They services my Honda transmission and replaced the manual stick shift and it's been great since the last year. There are cheaper and more expensive places out there.

I took my vehicle to mMears to have it checked out before I left on a trip. They called me and told me everything looked great. After I picked it up, the air conditioning wouldn't work… there is never been an issue with it before. I feel like if they had given it a thorough check up they would have noticed this and called me saying there was an issue. Super disappointed..I will not return.

I could never get my act together to schedule routine maintenance or a simple oil change before Mears. Thirty years I spent, frantically hiding that "next service sticker" and avoiding the disapproving gaze of auto technicians. 12 years and three cars later I wouldn't trust my car to anyone else.

On April 21, 2023, I took my car in for an A/C service. Prior to the service , I spoke with Alex regarding about the appointment; she explained it would include A/C recharge with uv dye & once it's full they will do a bench test to make ensure the compressor is working for a total of $205. She then let me know if they determine nothing is wrong with the compressor then I would need to drive it for a couple of weeks to work the uv dye through the system, bring it back and determine the source of the leak. I had this service done and my car started blowing hot air and I brought it back it on May 23, 2023. They inspected the uv dye and said it was the O-Rings that were leaking and total was $397 to fix. After leaving the shop, about 20 minutes of using A/C, it stop working. I had to bring it again on May 30, 2023. I asked them while I was dropping it off "what does this look like since it seems like there was a misdiagnosis" and Alex gave me an explanation that on the bottom of the receipt when your A/C is having issues, you may need to bring it in multiple times to find the source of the issue. I felt like that was unfair because you don't see the receipt until the end of your first service and this was not verbalized in our original conversation. it felt like she was justifying and covering in case of further issues. Alex later called saying my A/C compressor was bad. of course i was very surprised because they told me the first service was to ensure the compressor was not bad before doing further work. They quoted me $1800 for the compressor service. When I picked up my car, other staff were kind, as usual, but justified this saying "Alex shouldn't have said that" rather than owning up fully to this mistake and offering to remedy the situation outside of the $400 off. At this point it felt really frustrating they would even think I would give them further business after breaking trust like that. I took my car to another shop my family goes to (in a more expensive city for reference) and they were straight up; able to tell me immediately it was a bad compressor & said took them 20 minutes to run the test to find out it would shut off. it only cost $1000 to repair and they told me the cost of every part and labor and what i needed to ensure warranty. Mears was negligent in spending the time to diagnosis my car appropriately in the first service leading them to complete other costly repairs rather than the compressor in the first place. As a young woman this is a hard situation as it feels a company I have visited multiple times took advantage of my lack of knowledge without care of losing me as a customer. I had hoped to be refunded $600 as Mears did not fix what what was agreed upon. Before this situation I might have recommended this place but I definitely wouldn't now, especially since as a shop you have to realize how this comes off and they did not remedy the situation appropriately and they have ignored my request to remedy it as well.

I was beyond impressed with the service and care I received here. Quote for rotors and breaks was spot on and actually less at checkout. They even helped me with oil change price as it was higher than I expected. I had called a few places and thought they were middle price point I wanted to go local and their reviews were so awesome I had to give them a try. To make it even better, they even offered me a loaner car for the day so I didn’t have to wait and didn’t have to refill gas or anything. The lobby and restroom though small were super clean I can’t emphasis how great the experience was. Definitely going back. Nice to feel cared for and not just another dollar. Just had my car repaired here and I was so impressed with the customer service and overall experience. I’ll never take my car elsewhere. Professional communication, honest service, and kind people. Repairs took longer than expected and they gave me a complimentary loaner car, communicated early and explained everything clearly. We've been taking our cars here for about 7 years. What I appreciate about them is that they are up front and honest about your car repairs, telling you if the issue is just an annoyance or a safety issue that really needs to be taken care of. Or they have done work that was a "cheap fix" instead of costing me a ton for a bunch of new parts. Also, they will explain issues to me and not talk down to me like I'm d****

They did a Used Car mechanical Pre-check inspection. They were very professional both before and during the work they did for me. I would advise anyone looking to buy a used vehicle to have it checked before purchase. This shop is neat and clean, and it's easy to tell that they take pride in their work. Their service cost was very reasonable. Highly recommend this shop.

Brought in my 2019 ram Laramie. They diagnosed my exhaust manifold cracked and broken bolts. Was able to get it repaired quickly. Also did tire rotation and installed tire pressure sensors as my oem ones went bad. Great service staff easy to work with. Will bring all my cars here for quality work.
