My wife and I have been Fifth Third customers for 34 years. We have always had exceptional service and have even made a few life-time friends along the way. But the customer service and management team at the Carmel branch is the best yet. We enjoy going there because everyone is so friendly and engaging. Our Preferred Relationship Manager, Yanina Yataco, is beyond exceptional. She is amazing. Very knowledgeable and helpful. We hope she stays at this branch forever. ?

Absolutely terrible experience attempting to get a banking error resolved and our loan moving forward again. This has gone on for MONTHS. Highly do not recommend using 5th 3rd for any type of loan or banking.

I called in a change order so they would have time to get it ready. asked when they would like me to come. they made me give my account number over the phone. then again when I got there, even though they told me they wrote it down, ask for it again luckily I had brought the account number with me. when I got here, the order hadn't even been started. I over heard someone say something like "oh I didn't know she was here." Why tell me 30 minutes? You either are understaffed or you need to work on your time management. If you need more time to get the change order ready then just say so.

The Worst bank you could choose. After being a customer for 24 years, there is no one who can get beyond the robot over seas call centers that transfers you around, and disconnects your calls. The local manager called to apologize and still could not make any intervention to remedy the mistakes on my account. They should be sued.

Very rude employees. I moved to the northern Marion county area early this year and work in Carmel so the Carmel branch is convenient but I will avoid going there. I will say the employees at the two branches on North Michigan have been wonderful.

Worst fifth third branch in Indiana. The staff and manger are very inconsiderate, always have an attitude they make it a bad experience every time I step foot at their location, will be closing my account after more than 5 years due to unprofessional staff.

We own a small business and have banked with 5/3 rd for over a year. We need to expand and had made an appointment with the business banking manager, Nick at the Carmel location, to discuss our growing needs. and Nick did not show up for the appointment or call us to tell us he would be out today. We took our time away from our business and he could not have the courtesy to let us know he would not be in today. Clearly Nick nor his coworkers care enough about our time and money. We will be looking for a new banking partner.

This is the third day in a row I have made a phone appointment (with plenty of advance notice and at different times of day) that this branch ignored. When I call the branch, the lines are busy and instruct me to make a phone appointment. I wish there was a way to close my account online or with customer service, but I’ve been told I must contact my local branch. So irritating.

Best branch in the area. Come in for yourself. The employees are always happy to help and have a great attitude. The lobby is clean and the employees have a passion for what they do. I have been banking with Fifth Third Bank for a very long time. I love this branch, make it your home branch , you will not regret it! So good!

I recently had an insurance claim on my home for storm damage to my roof. I filed the claim, worked through the process, got my check, got it endorsed by my mortgage holder and tried to deposit it at this branch.I see the amount credited to my account and process. Two days later I see the amount was debited from my account. I called to ask what happen and was told by the local branch that they thought the check was for them for my mortgage. I advised I don't have a mortgage with them. They asked if a manager could call me back. The manager calls me back and tells me that the check needed to be endorsed by my mortgage company. I told them it had been (at the cost of $25 to me to over night the check to my lender) and that the mortgage company had signed it over to me. The manager then told me the check had been mailed back to me because they couldn't deposit it due to security concerns because having a third party on a check made my account subject to fraud. So here we are a few days later and no check arrives. I call 5/3 again and I'm told that the check was sent back to my mortgage company. I asked why. The phone rep said that because I didn't have enough money in my account to cover the check, they could not deposit it. This is one of the dumbest answers I have received. I asked him if he though that made sense and he said his manager told him that was what it was. So I asked him how anyone can ever open an account because any amount deposited into a new account, which would be at $0, would be greater than the balance, so by his answer, no one would ever be able to open an account.I called my mortgage company and they say they haven't received any check back. They stated the check was probably mailed back to my insurance company rather than the mortgage company. So what 5/3 did was take a $9,100 legal and fully endorsed check and drop it in the mail to "someone" (neither their branch or national customer service number know where). The customer service is atrocious and both the local branch and national number just gave me convoluted answers just to get me off the phone. Also, I'm an insurance adjuster, I handle these types of check endorsing situations every day, so I'm not confused at to the process, they just really don't know what they're doing.

I recently went to this branch in order to get a cashier's check. Keep in mind this is during COVID 19 so I avoid unnecessary face to face interactions. I went through the drive thru with ID equipped. I was told that this transaction needs to be done in the branch which was not true. I've been to plenty of branches that offer this service through drive thru. I go in the bank and the teller has her mask half off her face and starting unrelated conversation. I was greeted "hey girl" which is unprofessional in my opinion as I'm a grown woman and I've never met this person so that rapport was not established. The reason they wanted me to come into the branch and take an unnecessary health risk was to try and sale me on some account they're promoting. I will be closing my account with them due to this experience and using my other bank as my primary account now.
