Clean and very pretty to place to go for a run, walk the dog, or to lounge around and relax.

Saw the house decorated for Christmas very pretty. Saw the Doll house that looks like the real Governors Mansion at Colonial Williamsburg was beautiful . Nice details.

It's a very nice clean walking park. It has an interesting play area for children. The paths are paved and mostly flat. It's very well maintained and nicely landscaped.

Did a photo shoot for a friend and the photos will be great. Just the nicest place. So many places to shoot that you can't go wrong. And so many people here enjoying the unseasonably warm weather. Just a beautiful place to relax and hang out for an afternoon. Love it here.

I got married here and still take my kids (5 & 7) to the butterfly garden. It's not a typical playground but they use their imaginations to play games they can't at other playgrounds. They l have fun climbing on top of the tunnels, which are designed to be played on, and playing in the sandpit. The little village is fun but I recommend bringing toys for more use of this area. My kids don't play there too much without "props."I love the plants throughout. The most surprising and pleasant for me is that we bring lunch here and despite the native plants, there aren't bees and bugs that linger while we eat or I read while the kids play.In 2022 my husband and I came back to the venue after we had our anniversary date. It was dark and there seemed to be a lot of shady things going on there and way too many people just to be sitting around but the daytime isn't as weird. I'll imagine the Ritz, who manages the venue for weddings, is able to keep the area under control for evening/night weddings which would be absolutely gorgeous btw.Playground: Great for imaginative play. The only thing you'd find here that is as a regular playground is a slide and even that is built into a hill. Very interesting place.Restrooms: CleanDog-friendliness: It's outside so leashed dogs are fine here.Picnic area: There's a picnic pavilion I believe and a lot of seating in the children's garden to sit. The only tables are outside the playground though and not a good location to eat while playing. There's not really visibility from the table to the playground.

You can bring your own chair or they have available seating. Stage is set up great and so much green scenery! We were at a free concert and it was amazing! The sun was shining despite the little rain. Children and dogs are welcomed there also!

Beautiful park to take a walk with family and/or your dog. Kids area with a playground, two scenic clock towers, a bridge and amphitheater as well as a couple of beautiful water features.

Gorgeous park with plenty to offer for recreation. Perfect for walking, amphitheater, house museum, garden, covered pavilions, fishing, picture opportunities, picnics, etc. Quite literally there were five separate groups of people getting professional photos done and many others picnicking. I found that a lot of the spaces are rentable for weddings+. There is plenty of parking, places to sit and people watching to do. There is no woods or rigorous unpaved trails so do not expect that. I enjoyed myself and would like to come back whether that be for another picnic or to check out the house when it’s open.
