We were newer patients, barely a year, when it was time to say goodbye to our 14 year old dog. The whole staff was always wonderful. The last two weeks as we struggled to figure out if it was the correct time to say goodbye, Dr. Dan treated us with such compassion, patience and understanding. He answered a multitude of emails, he came out to the front when we took her in for a weight check, and he even came in on his day off to put her to sleep. During the procedure he gently walked us through the process making sure we had all the time we needed. We highly recommend Clayton Family Vet.

Refreshing Veterinary Practice. Dr. Anne Clayton took the time to get to know my Senior pet, sit on the floor and interact with him in a non scary way. She answered all my questions, and she continues to do so! Dr. Ross Clayton took care of my numerous rescue pets over the years. Always calm, rational, practical and kind care! Thank you for setting a different standard for Veterinary care.

Yesterday, I took my Chihuahua mix to Dr. Clayton for his first dental cleaning, which went exceptionally well. This was our first visit being new to the area, and due to unfortunate past experiences at other vets (out of state, Beverly Hills of all places), I admittedly have trust issues and was reluctant to try a new vet. I must say, Dr. Clayton is the best and has completely won my trust. Before the appointment I had tons of questions and concerns that I emailed over, and Dr. Clayton patiently answered all of them. After dropping off, I spent a couple of hours at Barnes and Noble, during which time Dr. Clayton kept me updated via text about everything that was happening. It's a relief to find a local vet who is not only an excellent doc but also empathetic towards owner anxiety.

This is without a doubt the most excellent vet I have ever encountered. My parents take their dogs here and I live out of town but with a lab puppy of course he gets into things & I’ve been able to count on Clayton Family Vet to get us out of a couple of sticky situations with him. I can’t thank them enough for how much they take care of my parents dogs and have helped with mine too.

Dr. Dan is great! He was super understanding with my anxious dog. Took time to listen to any concerns or questions. Was up front about costs and why services were needed, but didn’t push anything. He also talked with me on the phone when I called about a concern after a recent visit. 100% recommend

My goofy doodle is a patient of this practice for the last four years and I couldn’t be more pleased. Dr. Clayton is immensely knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate, and unfailingly natural with our pup. His opinions and advice are well reasoned and honest. Over the years we’ve had a couple of health scares, an injury that required stitches, and one emergency situation. Each time, Dr. Clayton and his office were extremely responsive. His staff is excellent, pricing is reasonable, and there’s no pushy up-selling. He is, hands down, my favorite veterinarian in over 30 years.

Most caring and professional office. We have chosen Dr. Clayton across 4 family members and at least 10 dogs over the years. He treats you like family and your pet likes it’s his own. Highly recommend.

Dr. Dan Genatiempo is a wonderful asset for Clayton Family Vets! My rat terrier is very high energy, which makes her harder to treat. Both Dr. Dan and the vet tech were so generous and patient with her! One of the most complete vet visits I have ever experienced, and I am confident they will be there to help my "holy terror terrier" be the best dog she can be. We have a plan!

Great Vet. We had multiple tooth extractions on our family dog. Dr. Clayton was outstanding in surgery and communication. His his support staff were friendly and professional. Clinic was also fairly priced for the treatment they provided.
