I bought a used car 2016 Ford fusion SE with minor body damage and dents outside. Interior was clean and everything electronically worked with the touchscreen, heated seats, etc. I did buy a used car with 137,000 miles. This car was sold at full bluebook value with nothing wrong with it at Good condition value. my opinion maybe at fair value.
I did ask for a discount due to the deferred maintenance. I was told no…you’re problem. No discount for deferred maintenance?The car needed front brakes and rotors, sway bar links, outer of tie rod ends, four brand new tires due to being four different brands of tires all around the car and worn, you can’t drive your kids when the rubber on the road if is not right. Also front struts and rear shocks and a full alignment. They told me this was their mechanics car and it was well taken care of! I would hate to inspect the other vehicles on the lot. after driving on a test drive I’ve noticed a few things wrong with it. I’m also in mechanic I am able to put $2100 in parts and labor to make sure the car run acceptable and do the work myself. If you went to a mechanics shop it would be $4200++ to make this car drive worthy to put your kids in it. I did my due diligence and Carfax was provided and the ford fusion had oil changes completed minus routine maintenance, I’m able to mechanically put the parts on her in one weekend and make this fusion Great again! Nothing engine and transmission has gone wrong yet, but it’s only been 300 miles and a one week of ownership. This was only a $9000 car couldn’t imagine buying a $50,000+++ car with interest and a car loan and service. Good luck and I hope this review helps you. Find a mechanic and make sure everything is A1 Before you buy a expensive vehicle, Because it’s all bought at auction and it’s somebody else’s headache.
