Overall my kids have enjoyed the program but it is ridiculous that they are scheduling any games at all over fall break. They have known fall break is going to be a week starting for over a year now yet they still schedule the tourneys during fall break.Horrible decision by the staff running this program!!!Find another program if you want to travel or know that your team may have to forfeit due to not having enough players. Even if you are able to attend your team may not have enough players.

Have been in CDC for several years and overall it is your average rec organization. Some sports are done very well and other could use some work. Soccer was a mess this year with poor communication, poor scheduling and bad process of composing teams.Overall coaches do a good job and care about the kids. For the most part parents behave but like all situations there are some you wish were not there.Overall the refs do a good job given the task they have to do. I have watched over 100 games and I can honestly say only once have I seen a completely incompetent ref in a soccer game. They had absolutely no business refereeing youth sports. That is one bad apple in a group that is good. In my opinion a ref is there just a much to teach at youth levels but this guy clearly enjoyed the power he thought he had. He was an very arrogant high school or college age kid and hope to never see again. If you want to a youth sport organization to participate in, it is fine and not unlike and other rec organizations in this country. There will be times it is great and other times frustrating. Just do your best to make sure kids enjoy. I encourage people to get involved if they want to help make organization better.

The new field house is great but plan ahead for traffic whenever field house and soccer fields are both active. Traffic was backed up all way to Gray today took us about 15 min.

We had a great first experience with Carmel Dads Club with boys soccer, and I can see us coming back to play soccer and other sports with CDC again. The communication is excellent, and I always felt like I knew what was going on throughout the season. A couple of times, we had to reach out to the commissioner with questions, and they always got back to us very quickly. The coaches for all Carmel Dads Club sports are volunteers, and many of them are parents of kids who are on the teams. We have nothing but great things to say about the volunteer coaches. They went above and beyond, and they were very supportive and not super pushy. We joined Carmel Dads Club because we wanted a fun, recreational experience for our kid that wasn't too competitive, and that's what we got. Carmel Dads Club uses Shelborne Fields for soccer games. Head's up: If you're at Shelborne Fields during game time and you want to buy a snack at the snack bar, be sure to bring cash! No credit or debit is accepted.

i was a sponsor and coach for 3 years. i retired from my nationwide business with over 60 million dollars in sales. i worked for fortune 500 companies where saftey is #1. i went to work cutting grass for them and quickly summarize it is time for a change and cleaning house of management, because of 2 major faults. #1 saftey extremely lacking.( changing blades under a jack that cost $100.00) while they owned a $20,000.00 lift . #2 employee texting throught the day.(discusted me as a business owner ) this happened daily every day even while driving a company vehicle. same employees. this could result in a law suit wich could cost dads club millions! next time it might be a fence, but a person! extreme lack of effort by employees. #3 employees hiding in bathroom to play pokémon. #3 no saftey glasses #4 no steel toed boots while working daily with mowers
