I opened a business account for my sole proprietorship and within 1 week I was very unhappy with their customer service demanding that I register my business with the state. My state does not require that I register my sole proprietorship, I'm only required to register my business with the County which I did. Needless to say, I was able to open a business account at another bank with no issues at all. As added insult to injury, BMO charged me $50 for being an unhappy customer and closing my account. Wow, unbelievable. Needless to say, I could never recommend BMO to anyone. There are so many other banks that you can establish a relationship with.

I went to BMO to close the account of my son who unexpectedly passed away a few months ago. Amy walked me through what I needed to do in a professional and kind manner. Her advice will help me resolve other estate issues for my son. Thank you Amy.

Horrible customer service with horrible policies and fees. I am not sure why anyone would bank with BMO, especially at this location. I would reccomend to go accross the street and open an account with Forum Credit Union. Much better customer service with great account. Whenever I have issues with my account BMO associates never had any answers or reasoning behind their decisions. Horrible bank.

Such bad customer service and misleading information. Had several issues when it make to a credit transfers and they made it a lot worse. Also their regional manager is very rude.

I'm guessing that because so few people want anything to do with Harris Bank they've decided to get customers by acquiring other banks - thereby forcing people who want nothing to do with them to be Harris Bank customers... Harris Bank has a way of making simple things complicated; their "bankers" talk about things they're neither licensed to discuss or of which they have any understanding - insurance for one. You'd think collateral for a loan would be something a loan officer at Harris Bank would understand, not at the Carmel branch apparently. A female loan officer at the Carmel branch of Harris Bank tried to convince me that the amount of the loan didn't control the amount of insurance required on a piece of real estate but the value of the home including all furnishings. When I asked if she even knew what collateral was, she just said "that's the way it works" and walked away. I wouldn't expect everyone at a bank to understand these things but I would have expected a loan officer to know them. Shame on you Harris Bank Carmel.

This is the worst bank around. They kept depositing my checks into savings, then they closed my checking because it wasn’t used. Wasn’t used because they kept putting money in wrong account, and I used it every 3 months to buy things for our association and I showed that, cared less. The. Lady stated they also have put money in wrong accounts, found that, still didn’t conform all was found. I closed the savings and association asked me to get a cash, I went to the bank explained situation she started yelling at me that it’s all my fault and I have no right to say it wasn’t. I have never been treated this way anywhere in my life. Monday started with tears.

So petty to charge a $10 fee to cash one of their own customers checks. I'm only here because I have to have it cashed today...... Such a joke!
