I love to stop in and shop around whenever I come to town to see my parents. I love the selection and styles, and I always find something fun in the sale room. I'm 40 and often wondered if this store is for younger people. But I am never judged (nor ever felt judged) when I shop in there and buy items; plus I've decided I can wear whatever I want! ;) Staff has always been helpful and friendly. At times when they don't have my size in stock, they have always offered to order it for me.

Awesome selection of teen clothing. The manager jumped in to find sizes and clothing cut for a very trim young lady. She knew what might fit and laid her fingers on the best looking styles. Greatly appreciate her kindness and knowledge.

The store manager was extremely rude to my friend who is working there at the time. She was having a hard time at home, and when she asked for any flexibility, it was not given and not only that she was also told she would lose her job if she didn’t show up and she would be the reason her boss loses her job. Far from that, I love this place, but just knowing what I know, I will never shop at any of these stores again.

Never had I felt such second-hand embarrassment and humiliation from a clothing store. My sister and I went shopping today, and my sister had tried on a cute romper. She is tall with a bigger bust, so it was a bit short on her. She asked the employee privately if they had an extra large. My sister doesn’t like to talk about her size, but needed help. The girl had a rude tone to her voice as she loudly stated that their clothing line rarely comes in XL, but that she’d go check. A few heads turned and my sister got red in the face. She briefly went to the back and instead of coming back and speaking with my sister, she shouted across the store “They don’t come in EXTRA large”. Horrified with her snippy tone and all the patrons’ stares, my sisters face turned bright red and she asked if we could leave. She was so embarrassed and is still thinking about it.It’s okay if your store doesn’t accommodate all body types. But the staff publicly body shaming is not okay. We used to love this store now I’m not sure if we’ll return.

Disappointed! Common sense is key and unfortunately it was missing from my order.Ordered 3 items Saturday morning, and apparently the order was ready by noon; however, sending the email that the order is ready is key.Needing an item in the order for Sunday morning, I called at 6 pm to see if we could pick up. They said it would be 8 am next day, but they would see what they could do (all the while they could just look to see if order was ready). They just took my name and suggested I just cancel the order and come in and buy the items….haha…I am out of town. That defeats the whole point. Not to mention, she apparently didn’t even look to see if order was ready. No emails on Saturday night before they closed at 8 pm, nor Sunday either.Then on Sunday when my daughter just showed up, they first told her they have no orders. She showed them my email mentioning “order received”. They then found it somewhere.They claimed the “order ready” email must have gone to my junk. Well, it didn’t, but thanks for trying to put it back on customer.I will shop elsewhere or Altar’d State Keystone.I understand being under-staffed, but this was just messy all around. Severely Under staffed would mean they didn’t have time to fulfill the order and pack it up….but that was actually done within an hour of my ordering. So unnecessary to make it so difficult.Concerned shopper

i would give this place 5 stars because the staff, store, products and pricing are great. but I can't go in the store for more than 30 seconds without getting a migraine from the copious amounts of perfume sprayed through the place. it's so thick that you can smell the perfume outside on the sidewalk into the parking spaces. The smell isn't bad but the amount sprayed is beyond obnoxious. I will never understand why stores do this because it doesn't draw people in and has the opposite effect. I was in the store less thank a minute and I had to leave. please rethink spraying your store and clothing with so much perfume, I don't know anybody that likes when stores do this and unfortunately I won't / can't go back because it's not worth the sinus headache I get from it. Again, great products, staff, pricing etc, but none of it matters if I can't shop there.

Absolutely terrible management. The store manager runs the store to her best personal interests and mistreats employees. Mistreats military families, do not run their store based on their core values, least 'Christian' company ever.

I dropped by to do some holiday shopping and my experience was perfect. Staff were a little overwhelmed but that's understandable during the holidays. I found a few things I liked and purchased them. Parking was a little tricky but not horrible.

My friends and I were just in the store, pretty sure they were close to closing but not too close. We had one person assist us in the beginning and then nobody else. When checking out the girl was very rude and threw our things around, she wasn't helpful in any way. I understand having a bad day, especially in retail, but this was so much rudeness and shortness that we honestly wanted to leave. We love the store but having teenagers working that don't know how to handle their emotions or that don't have any knowledge of customer service makes it hard to handle.

Poor customer service. I went to a return a pair of slippers that tore 2 days after Christmas. They told me I damaged them so I would not get my money back, I would get store credit. She gave no other option when I questioned it. I had my receipt and that was not enough.

Came in today and wasn’t greeted at all, every one else was greeted but me, I am Mexican and everyone else that was greeted was white. Didn’t like the staff very much.

Amazing staff! Altar’d State was very well-decorated, it looks amazing. What really makes this store special is the staff, they are all extremely friendly and willing to help customers. On top of the amazing staff and beautiful store, there are great sales as well!
