The place was absolutely beautiful. The facility was not the problem. It was the food! The bread as you can see has my knife stuck in the top, it was that hard. The entree was hideous. I asked the wait staff was food prepared in house or catered in. They told me it was prepared in house which in my mind there was no reason for the food to be lukewarm and some items cold. My potatoes as you can see weren't appetizing to look at! To be this burnt and actually served it. The vegetables were crunchy! Undercooked. The meat had flavor not extremely moist but not dry enough to make you choke. The baker however was on point because the dessert was the only thing edible and delicious. The salad along with the dressing and dessert were sitting on the table before we were seated. The salad had started to wilt it looked old in my opinion . Not sure the amount of time food items were on the table uncovered collecting dust but it was long enough for the ice to melt in my water glass.

I recently attended a wedding reception here. The food wasn't anything special and the music was slightly excessively loud, but I can't really fault the venue for that. Overall, it was a nice space, although the dance floor could have been a bit larger. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, so they definitely deserve five stars.

Gorgeous place, beautiful art displayed on the walls. Clean environment. My daughter’s prom, and graduation was held here. Great times were had at both! Definitely would rent for a formal engagement.

My school had prom here yesterday. My date and I entered, and she immediately got a warning on her watch that being exposed to this level of noise for 30 minutes will cause temporary hearing loss. Oh well, such is the nature of prom. We can go to a quieter place if we don't want to be in a mosh pit, right? No, actually. You can either be jumped on and ears blasted out in the pit, or shouting with friends on the outskirts of the room. I was 2 feet away from a friend and I could not hear his shouting. I am on the spectrum a little, and it really hasn't ever affected me in public situations. But here at 502 east event centre, I very nearly broke down and cried because of all the everything going on. Not once in my nearly 18 years of life has this ever happened to me.
I don't know about other events, but if you are looking for a place to be at for anything that will involve music as anything more than a background element, do not go here. You could not pay me to go back.

Went here for a graduation ceremony. Other than having the stand outside in a really long line in the misty rain it was a nice place for the graduation.
