My wife and I get our medications refilled at the pharmacy checkout counter. The pharmacy staff is great but the staff at the main checkout is terrible. They are hardly ever at the checkout counter. So much time wasted trying to pay for items. You literally have to chase someone down to check out and pay.

Store prices are super expensive.
Pharmacy is closed frequently due to ‘no available staff,’ they are closed on weekends now for the same reason.
Although they can be polite sometimes they can be dismissive other times. They had me ‘step aside’ when I had a coupon code for a discounted medication on ‘good Rx’ and continued ringing up a line of 4 other people before she would ring up my medication. The thing is they have access to all these sites and codes but didn’t apply a code until I asked for one. For reference I was 3rd in line and waited for my turn like everyone else.
I switched to this pharmacy because of its convenient location after I lost my job and insurance due to my son’s catastrophic medical events. ( my son was paralyzed at 15 but a couple of years ago had a 49% burn of his body) Prior to this switch I worked for IUHEALTH as an RN. I’ve been a nurse for over 25 years, so my only other experiences have been IUHEALTH pharmacies. I MISS YOU DWIGHT)
There is an app cvs has that can get discounts on stuff there but a lot of stipulations on how they work. Have to manage it pretty tightly to get maximum savings. However the app does help keep it straight when meds are filled, when theyre out of a medication or when you need a refill from the doctor. I like the automatic refill options.
As far as the ‘good Rx app’ goes, cvs is ALWAYS the most expensive from any other pharmacy like Meijer walmart or walgreens. (Sometimes as much as 20 dollars). And what happened to the 4 dollar medication list pharmacies used to have? As for now I’m gonna keep with them for now because theyre close to me.
If you use this pharmacy always call to make sure theyre staffed that day before you make the trip.

Nothing good to say about CVS. Waited over 3 months to get my lupus meds & now doing same thing with my other meds. Had new prescription called in, later that day received text from CVS they was contacting my doctor for an alternative med. Heard nothing back so I called them. They claim (5 days later) nothing was EVER called in. Asked them to explain how I received a text from them but they couldn't give a reasonable answer. This was their second chance. Years ago, after taking care of elderly mother, discovered they were charging her 3 times more for her generic meds then the name brand. I'll never give CVS another penny!

No help for an 86 year old at the Pharmacy. Willing to allow overpayment of $61 on a prescription because unwilling to make a phone call. Wanted on hold for 15 minutes to talk to Pharmacy.

The pharmacist decides when to fill your prescription here if they dislike you they make you wait and stand in line for 15 minutes or more pharmacist should have to have a doctor degree because they decide when to fill your scripts. DO NOT GO HAVE YOUR PRESCRIPTION FILLED HERE THEY ARE AWFUL!

Stood in line for 10 minutes to ask for benadryl dosage clarification for my 3 year who experienced a bee sting to his mouth. Both the technician and the pharmacist ignored me at the consultation counter while helping other pickup medications that arrived some time after I did. I would not recommend anyone to go the pharmacy for any urgent needs.

Only dealt with Dylan in the pharmacy. Seems he needs at least another couple years of training. Had to go back 4 times in one day due to his incompetence.

I am in CVS a couple times a week since it’s so convenient for me. Today I ran out of iron and headed in to pick some up. The mask mandate begins sometime next week. I walked in with my daughter. There were at least 2 others not wearing a mask. As I walked through the cashier helping a non mask wearing man I was asked to leave because I was not wearing one. I looked at her confused and pointed to other unmasked customers and she said “ya I know... they were accidents.” I guess we get to pick and choose who shops without a mask. I will not spend another penny in Cambridge City, CVS.

Last time I'll be wearing any of Julian's clothing when going out. I caught the crabs but ran over to CVS to get some wash. After a shower upstairs at work I feel much better. Thanks CVS!
