Why won't they just put my oversized mail in the oversized mailbox. Just like almost all of us I work and can never make it there to pick up. Just give me a key and put it in large box. It's your issue of delivery not mine. And of course it's impossible to contact the Brooklyn office what am I to do.

Do not be fooled by this very small branch outlet. They can provide all the postal services the big boys can. The only drawback here is that the customer service window is only open a half day that being in the mornings. But there is never a line waiting for service. At most there might be one person ahead of you. They have PO Boxes for rent here. The lobby is open 24/7 for access to the boxes and outgoing mail slots. The Martinsville Post Office rents boxes too but the access is limited to daylight hours.A do-it-yourself postal kiosk would be helpful here. You can buy stamps from them plus weigh packages and get labels with the correct postage amount. But I have seen how high maintenance those machines are so maybe it was an experiment that never panned out.

Always changing postmasters and not so convenient times.
