I go here for all of my car repairs and services. Dorsey is a great guy. The mechanic, Dave, is amazing and honest. Prices are reasonable and fair. They do not over charge, and they stand behind their repairs. I highly recommend this shop.

Broke down on my way to northern Indiana, had my car towed there. Fixed my car way cheaper than I was expecting AND his wife picked me up from the bus stop in Rensselaer since I was riding the bus from Gary back home to Indy. They went above and beyond helping me out! If I lived closer, Whicker’s would be my full time mechanic. Highly recommend to anyone in the area or anyone traveling through who breaks down.

Whicker’s Car Care is a prompt and dedicated small town tow service that was there for me in my moment of need. I was over 100 miles from home when I had car trouble and needed a tow truck to bring me home. I was very appreciative at first but the driver's (Jamie Wirtz)sense of humor, which immediately made an uncomfortable situation for me, more bearable. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly to be in the vehicle with for an hour and half to two hours. Thank you for your help and great customer service!!
