Bought Car Hauler - United said they installed Dexter axles. We have looked everywhere on the axle for the engraved serial number off center facing the back and there are no numbers anywhere. Any idea who might have made these axles. Need new axle or a spindle.

7 days after purchase the left side popping out I begged to be swapped out because I know how involved the repair is ripping apart the entire interior to repair it . They offered for me to drive 9 hours one way to have it repaired at the factory or pay $1500 to ship it lol comical. The owner Jason d ( bought United trailers ) says they don’t have any to swap which I seen 10 on there site I’m reasonably and if it were 2 months I wouldn’t expect that but one week later come on , long story short I rush it into a appointment that is supposed to take one day 3 hour round trip drive 11 days later it’s don’t and they just ignored 2 issues didn’t fix it I’m not gonna go back and forth I have so much documentation my lawyer will handle it from here

This is my 3rd cargo trailer purchase and trailer brand in the last 10 years. The first was a 16’ Diamond Cargo trailer from Georgia. It hauled daily for 3 years. I still own it and it’s perfect. The second was a 20’ Cross trailer. This trailer was so bad after 6 years that I had no choice but to order a new trailer. Ladder racks falling off, screws falling out, door falling off…etc. With much research I ended up going with United trailer. All of my trailers were custom ordered and the United was no exception. This trailer is a 34’ gooseneck with as much framing support as they offer (same as a stacker trailer). This trailer totaled just under 50k. While the framing is extremely stout (trailer weighs just under 10k lbs empty) the fit and finish is horrible. Mainly with incorrectly driven screws, missing screws, crooked exterior lights, wonky trim, and so on. My favorite thing I like about the trailer is the ladder racks the dealer installed….super beefy! I will attach pictures showing the issues. There is also a roof leak where someone didn’t take 1 second to lay the seal and down properly. Easy enough for me to fix, but still…here I am fixing things on a brand new 50k trailer. It doesn’t seem that these trailers go through any type of punch out inspection. Anyways just my experience that I wanted to share for others considering this brand. Also they refused to offer a bar lock on the side door as an option apparently because they look bad, so now I need to install one myself. I’m not loading this thing with 100k of tools with a rv style door that can literally be ripped open with bare hands…function over looks any day!Edit- Just noticed the brake actuator was leaking. Popped the cap off to see it’s completely full. The freaking filling instructions are right on the cap. Added photos showing.Edit- The rear ramp door is so crooked that the seal on the right side doesn’t hit anything when closed. From the inside you can see light on the entire right side of the trailer. I cannot believe this trailer passed any type of inspection. Did I mention this was a 50k trailer???

Great trailer! After 4 years I brought it back to get re skinned after hail damage. They done a great job. Trailer came out as good as new. I'm glad I traveled 700 miles to get it repaired by them. Great people too. Steve in service was great to deal with.

My company is finding itself in the midst of a difficult situation with United trailer. The issues we have found with the trailer to date are as follows...The roof of the trailer is leaking. Bad. The leaks have caused damage to my company's equipmentThe frame of the trailer rusted within Days of purchaseSiding seams are popping loose and deflecting, further inviting water damage into the trailer.Mold has rooted itself into the cieling plywood, wall plywood, and floor plywood.Improperly applied decals and reflective tape( all of which is either crooked or falling off at this time)Exterior lighting is terribly crooked and misaligned.Interior lighting is misalignedWe Purchased a 8.5 x 20 Tool crib trailer from Jason Dietsch trailer sales on 3/19/22.our experience after the sale has been as follows. The trailer was picked up during a rainstorm and driven to a jobsite. We opened the door to the trailer and found a roof leak. We then called the dealer and notified them of the issue, and the dealer notified us that the manufacturer had not installed the proper flashing tape at the roof to siding seam.We then further inspected the overall condition of the trailer and found the following.Rusted frame. We notified the dealer of this.Crooked interior and exterior lighting. Again, the dealer was notified.Crooked stickers and graphics. Dealer was notified. We were told we would be taken care of, Repeatedly. We then proceeded to find a different trailer dealer locally to handle the repair work. The trailer was transported at our companys expense to two local reputable trailer dealerships. Both of these dealers have refused to get involved with the trailer because the overall construction of the trailer is so poor, they would not be able to stand behind the repair. We have made approximately 6 calls to the dealership, and have been bounced around between the service writer, the Dealerships owner, The United Trailer Representative, Steve, who is terribly disrespectful and dishonest, and now the owner of united trailer.Steve has told me he will call me back with an answer, failed to do so, and will copy me in on an email with his boss. All parties associated with the matter have told us "We will get you taken care of"This process has now spanned the course of 45 daysI, the owner of a small business, have asked for a full refund. This request was not honored.I, the owner of a small business, have asked for a replacement trailer. The request was not honored.I, the owner of a small business, who purchased this trailer for a sum of $18,995.00 usd have spent 45 days trying to get this resolved, and the only real offer from the company has been a roll of tape(of insufficient length and width to seal the leaking roof)They also told us we could ship it at our expense back to the manufacturer(500 miles away) for repair. This presents a problem, as we are currently using the trailer to run a construction company. We have hundreds of hours to date setting the trailer up for our workflow, and we have loaded approximately $85,000 worth of equipment, tools, materials, fasteners, etc into the trailer to support our day to day operation. We would spend days emptying its contents, hundreds of dollars per day renting an equally sized trailer or cube van to operate the business. As per Jason Dietsch Trailer sales, as well as United Trailers Staff.."We will get you taken care of"As the Client,I have not been taken care of.Thank you for your promises.Philip P BockaCEOConstructive Improvements
