My grandkids took swim lessons out of town, water was "too deep" for them. The 5 year old was anxious. Here at the Y, they were having such an amazing time. Water level was perfect to build confidence. I'm definitely going to have to bring them back.

There is a path to walk around the building that also goes through some woods and it's very relaxing! None of the hills are steep, so it's not too difficult for our old dog. It's nice to have somewhere that feels safe to walk around and get some fresh air.

The YMCA had been a great place. I have weekly meetings there and the space is amazing. I've also signed my kids up for multiple events including free swimming lessons ! ?

At first i really enjoyed this branch of the YMCA. Now i would discourage anyone with leg disabilities or other lower limb disabilities find another fitness center. i was willing to work around the chairs not the correct height. i could always find a piece of equipment to use as a chair. i also was willing to put up with trainers who had never worked with people with disabilities. What has pushed me over the brink is the broken elevator. The equipment i want to use is on the second floor. After over three weeks, no one has any idea when the elevator will be repaired. it is not the staff's fault. This is an administrative decision. The staff at both locations shrug their shoulders and inform the client with the response- we don't know when it will be repaired. When any of the other equipment was broken they have no response. The focus is on the healthy and not for people with disabilities.

A hot tub would be nice after workouts.

Policy Failure. I paid 300-400$ for a yearly membership for my wife and I and they are now requiring me to pay more for my 6 month old child that can’t even crawl or walk? This is NOT standard policy or even a policy for that matter because they cannot show a written policy. NO OTHER YMCA REQUIRES A 6 month old to have a membership except for this (Which isn’t even a written policy). ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. To make matters worse an employee follows me out to my car as i’m leaving like he’s trying to intimidate me when all I was doing was asking for a written policy or to see a copy of the contract I signed(which they wouldn’t show me).

I was recently really disappointed in this location. Apparently they don't accept silver sneakers which is a insurance paid program for people with disabilities and the elderly

I have been trying to get a scholarship to the YMCA for over a year and a half. Couldn't get any one to respond to my text. Then today I called and the lady I spoke to was very matter of fact and rude. She was not helpful at all. I am very disappointed in this facility and I'm not going to try any more. I don't want to go to any place with an attitude like that

I had a great experience at this facility! It was my first time visiting a YMCA, and I was actually attending a course for CPR/First Aid training. It went really well. Everyone was very nice, and I learned a lot! The facility seemed very clean, and it was in a good area. I would definitely return here to get re-certified in the future, and I would recommend it for anyone who is interested.

I’ve been a member of the NW YMCA since it opened and regularly use the cardio equipment. It’s a very nice setting and is usually not too crowded in the morning. However, with the COVID-19 situation worsening and especially the contagious Omicron variant, I wish the Y would start requiring proof of vaccination (my son’s gym in New York does this). If proof of vaccination is never going to be required, I would at least like to see mask wearing & social distancing enforced for those not actively using cardio equipment (weight area, stretching area, walking on the track while talking on a cell phone etc.). Too many times people sit down on a mat 2-3 feet away without a mask on or walk up to people and pull down their mask to talk (I guess they think they can’t be heard, but it defeats the whole purpose of the mask!). People constantly talk on a cell phone while walking on the track without a mask. All of this wouldn’t be so bad if proof of vaccination was required. Otherwise, could employees start enforcing the mask policy?

I went today to watch my 6mos grand baby to learn how to swim. The instructor was so very nice and noticed every single baby. He pointed out very good advice for each baby since they are at different ages. I strongly recommend go visit the YMCA

Love this place! Thanks to the Y, I am consistently active for the first time in my life. I always feel supported by their staff and love that people of all ages are welcomed.
