Since Bloomington no longer has a shoe repair shop, I took my leather purse here to see if they could reattach the shoulder strap to my purse. The young man who helped me said that the store did not do such repairs...and then he proceeded to "try something" and he fixed the problem. This kind person went above and beyond his responsibilities. I am grateful and highly recommend the service in this establishment.

While in Bloomington, the Hilbilly stopped by The Briar & The Burley. It's a lot like our Just For Him back in Springfield.
Very nice staff, a huge selection of luggage, and a very impressive selection of cigars and pipes.
I highly recommend this establishment!

I had an opportunity to visit this shop with a group of friends while we were in Bloomington. As soon as I walked in I was super impressed with the selection of cigars, pipes, and so much more! To be honest, I thought I had died and went to Heaven!
With being an outsider and not knowing exactly what the shop had on hand, I was able to relay a few cigars I like and received an amazing suggestion. But the experience didn’t end there.
As we went into the lounge, we were greeted by a few others from our auctioneer friend group and a few of the “regulars.” We were greeted by them and had an amazing, open conversation with all of them. The discussion with absolute strangers was life changing. I believe we’re all meant to come across individuals for a reason and I am so glad that I was lucky enough to meet the great individuals that frequent the lounge and operate it!
If you’re new to cigars and want to learn something but get turned off due to being a little scared to ask, don’t be scared here. Everyone is there to help. I definitely recommend making a trip here!

My fiancé & i frequent this place as regulars. The staff is always very nice & knowledgeable. Their products are the best around. Only pipe tobacco i actually enjoy having. Couldn't recommend any other place in south central Indiana.
