STAPLES employees are knowledgeable and friendly. I find their prices fair. Love that they have an inexpensive shredding service for when I have a ton of documents to shred.

On 4/2 (Tuesday) store was closed at 645pm. They were supposed to be open until 8pm. I needed to return something from Amazon.
I returned on 4/3 and a young white male with long black hair and a beard tended to my return. When I complained about the store being closed the previous day he gave a flippant attitude. I told him at a minimum he should show remorse and apologize for the inconvenience but he snapped at me saying “there’s nothing I can do about it”. There was not an ounce of customer service oriented attitude. I understand he was not responsible for the store being closed early yesterday but he should show customer remorse. He only pushed to get my return processed with zero soft skills. What an awful attitude to show to the customer. ?

Sign on the door says they are closed today for lack of employees. So either they're undergoing an armed robbery with bad guys hustling expensive stuff out the back door or they need to take a hard look at their employee retention strategy.
On an ordinary (open) day I would have given them a 5/5. Being closed with no alterations of their website, Google hours or phone message is rather rude, though.

I drove all the way over there from 10 mi away, it's the only Staples in Bloomington indiana, today 3/4/24, and there was a sign on the door "Closed, becoz not enuff Staff. So this sucks!! Next time I will go to Office Depot on West 3rd street! Do not come here!!! They are not open!!!?

Call before going as they put a sign on door that says “closed due to lack of staff” yet Google maps and their automated phone system will say they are open. Frustrating when you drive from another county to find them closed.

I have been trying to return an Amazon package for several days now. It has always been closed due to lack of staff. The Amazon QR code will only accept Staples! When I call the recording says you’re open. Today there were others trying to go there. What is up with that? I read your reviews and you politely say you’re working on it. Please fix this situation!

Not open in the evenings anymore, but haven’t updated their hours online. They just leave a sign on the door that says they are closed due to lack of staff. A real bummer to go there twice now for a (mandatory) Amazon return and not be able to get it done. I recommend calling first before you go here. I hope this place isn’t in a death spiral!

Have tried to go twice this week during open hours but they're closed with no notice of when they will re-open. Sign says "closed due to lack of staff" but at least update your Google hours or have your phone system say you're closed.

The staff are polite but this store closes every day at 4pm. Three times I have tried to go in the evening and the store has been closed. Either local management needs to improve or HQ needs to increase wages so they can actually hire. Or just post the accurate hours online and be honest so people don’t waste their time going all the way there.

As a visual artist I need printing services with high quality, consistent hours and staff that understand my needs.
Currently, the Bloomington IN store meets none of my criteria. Your entire staff quit, you have not hired competent staff, store hours are inconsistent day to day and I don't see that corporate executives have a concern that this business is failing. The few staff that are left are frustrated and burned out. Your neglect is an embarrassment.

Placed an online print order on a Tuesday and got confirmation it was ready the next day.
Went to pick it up on Wednesday around 7pm and there was a "closed due to lack of staff" note.
Went back on Thursday around 6pm and they were closed due to lack of staff again.
Unreliable.

I was directed to go to the desk at the print shop to check out. One employee was busy with another customer so I figured I was "in line." But another employee dropped what he was doing and promptly checked me out. He was very courteous.
