I've bought four cars from Royal and I get all my maintenance done here. Buying is easy, I always get a great deal on the car I'm looking for and the service dept is always very professional, fast and affordable.

We bought a VW Taos from Joe Blickensdorf last week.
My daughter is an international student at IU. She was not back in the US, and we needed to organise a new car for her return, so the majority of the purchase needed to be organised remotely.
Joe was beyond exceptional, and went above and beyond what was required of him. He made the buying process painless despite the unusual situation.
We couldn’t recommend highly enough and will be eternally grateful for the incredible customer service.

Preston is an amazing customer service representative! He investigated, researched, AND resolved an issue I had been dealing w/ for 2 1/2 years, w/ 2 previous Royal customer representatives. Preston seemingly did the impossible! And did so in one day!! He will be my go-to from now on; there are not enough accolades to say about Preston!!!!!

Preston was fantastic to work with. I brought my car in with no appointment. He took it right away and had a rental for me. I was checked in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. His communication was excellent and he gave me free additional rental days when the part for my car did not come in. I also witnessed him with a very rude customer. He was incredibly patient and professional through that entire interaction. That is a rare skill to find in an employee and he should be greatly rewarded for his professionalism.

Lowest rated Vw around my area. Justin Boruff (service advisor) was bad to work with. It took 3 visits of 10 hours waiting to not get fixed. I got a new dash light after they worked on it & want $170/h to diagnose the light they put on. Didn't listen to my request and did services I said not to do until what i came for was done.

They repaired my Passat recall, but didn’t offer to provide a vehicle for me during that time so I had to drop it off myself. Service was great though.

The service department is awesome! Such a great experience & answered so many questions I had. I will say we do love Jeremy, in sales! He made our buying experience easy, quick & painless. Hats off to Royal on the Eastside!!! Love our VW Atlas

It's just odd that I've had this vehicle for nearly two years and never had a oil issue like this before. I find it hard to believe that roughly every 1200 miles they vehicle will consume 1 quart of oil.
2. I wasn't too happy to hear that they perform maintenance on my vehicle without informing me the issue or price to repair it. In the future I will demand a call or text to inform me of any and all repairs and costs before repairs are made. Whether it's under warranty or not. I wasn't too happy with the bill I received stating they had to put a quart of oil in my car. Over $50 later. Not cool.

Terrible customer service and issue not resolved. Every interaction with the service writer has been an unpleasant experience to put it lightly.

VW has great service all the way around. Joe B is fantastic to work with. He had the car we wanted to look at shipped to the dealership within a day and handled all of our questions with a good sense of humor. Brandon in Finance was excellent to work with too. All around good experience. We're always happy with the service department every time we've needed them for our older models.
