A local veterinarian’s office did not come through for me with the paperwork I needed to move with a dog and cat to Norway, but this FedEx location did. I had made the plans with the vet’s office four months in advance of our move to avoid any problems and stayed in touch the whole time, but sometimes you can’t control the outcomes of certain situations.
This paperwork goes from your local vet, to the USDA for review/signatures and then arrives at your door via courier. You only have 10 days from when you visit the vet with your pets to get your paperwork and have it ready to present at the airport of your destination, or else you pet could be quarantined or euthanized. The paperwork cost approximately $720 as well. It was a tight deadline and expensive which is why I began planning four months prior. Still the vet’s office wasn’t going to have this ready for me until the day of the flight, it turns out. We were flying out of Chicago as well, so we were going to originally drive up there the night before to have plenty of time to catch our flight.
I’m not sure why this wasn’t arranged so that I could get the paperwork at least a day before our flight date, but the point is, I was able to go to the local FedEx on Roll Ave as soon as I realized I wouldn’t get the paperwork delivered to my door until some time before noon Monday morning (which would be too late).
The folks at FedEx were kind enough to tell me to have the paperwork held there at their office when it arrived early Monday morning. They went out of their way and met me outside a half hour before they opened. It was a Christmas miracle. I can’t thank them enough and we made it to our flight on time!

Even though UPS, USPS, DHL and Amazon all deliver on our road/to our house Fed Ex refuses to do so. Packages have been returned to the sender and "lost" which some vendors refund you for lost items, some don't. FedEx has become a far inferior service to all others and I've started inquiring what carriers businesses use and if it's FedEx, I don't place the order.

To day they email me package is delayed do to an issue. No issue stated. Contacted seller. No clue have to contact FedEx. An around n around we go. Now it's a delivery exception. What hell does that mean.
