We provided treatment to a mutual patient for two years. This review is based off that experience.
She should exercise caution in avoiding assumptions about others, and instead, actively listen while asking questions in a nonjudgmental manner. This approach can lead to more informed decisions in providing care, ultimately preventing misunderstandings, sadness, and unnecessary drama.

Better hope there is never a miscommunication between you and the office, especially if you are struggling with ADHD yourself and trying to get help for a kid that likely has the same. Miss an appointment you don't know about (or thought it was a different day) and she will drop you without a care. Then you have to wait another YEAR to get into another place to get help for your kid who is struggling. Devastating.

Dr Vankooten is a true blessing to me. She is a person who actually cares about her patients and takes the time to find out how to properly treat any issues. Doctors as good as her are hard to find.
