security and employees are rude. employees follow you around the store and stare at you while you check out. seems like everyone is on a power trip. not a friendly place. instead of walking 2 min to get there, i’d rather drive 5 min to kroger instead. **also the 20 something girl that works there is rude for no reason

This store does not have hours posted on the front door, which makes sense because they aren’t open consistently anyway. According to the website, the store closes at 10pm every day. Hardly any day have I seen it open past 8:30, without any note in the door about closing early. Management needs to resolve this persisting issue. I hardly bother coming here anyway because I usually find it’s closer early and realize I wasted my time by coming.

The store is conveniently located in downtown but staff are rude. One time, the person behind the counter rolled her eyes and sighed deeply as soon as she saw me enter the store, then she began speaking loudly as if I could not hear her, then insisted that I grabbed the first product on the isle and demanded I left immediately. I'm not white and speak with an accent. I'm pretty sure this was discrimination.

Management is very friendly and helpful and my experience has been that most of the employees are as well. I do wish they had later hours but then, it closes at the same time as all others in town currently (10pm) aside of the 24hr store on East Third St. I’ll be back for sure!

Taylor, the pharmacy lead tech is rude, inconsiderate, lazy, and all-around unpleasant. I went to pick up my prescription at the pharmacy at 1:52, and she refused to honor my prescription until 2 when she was “ off her break.” After that, she proceeded downstairs to purchase snacks, while I waited at the desk for her to return. All the while I was in a rush to make it out of town. Taylor doesn’t care about you, your health, medicine, or service experience. Don’t order your prescriptions to Kirkwood to avoid Taylor.

4/5 stars because the lone employee working with the security guard on a Wednesday night during Spring Break was a very friendly guy. As other reviews stated, this store has an odd layout. We needed items on both the main and upper levels. I totally missed the escalator and waited and waited for that elevator. It took what seemed like forever for the elevator to open. If there was a staircase I didn't see it. We found everything we needed. The upper floor was incredibly hot and made me feel claustrophobic. Headed to the escalator for our trip back down to the main level.Self-checkout is definitely encouraged with security arms length away. This didn't really bother me. Actually made me feel safer. Just a few other customers in the store while we were - students and what appeared to be locals. Given the need for a guard on the premises this must be a place with some history.Recommend if you're already on campus and/or don't have transportation.

Store was okay but they had some old dude with a power trip who thought he was cool for being hired to enforce the company's mask mandate. That wasn't the issue though! I had no problem complying with his request, but he gave me no more than 10 seconds after asking me only to ask me again albeit more aggressively the second time. I asked if he worked here and he got mad and said he was hired by them. Lady at the desk was kind, handed me a mask. This was a while ago, not sure if they're still enforcing this mandate personally, but let's hope that "security guard" never gets hired again.

The person at the cashier was curt. I asked for protein bars and was going to buy a box. The lady kept telling me, as I looked at the boxes, that i had to go to the next isle to buy them individually. I never said I wanted individual bars, she just "prescribed" them to me. When I paid, I told her that I had a cvs card. She replied that it was too late because she was already processing my payment. She smiled at me as she said this. When I printed the receipt, she took it with two fingers and tossed it at me.
