Update: my car was finished after a month in the shop, was a warranty item, now waiting on a refund for cost I incurred from the warranty claim and been waiting another month since my car has been completed… absolutely do not recommend the service depart since it is complete trash along with Kia in general. Also the below comment from the so called owner didn’t do anything, I was never contacted by them, I was the one always calling to get updates on my car!!!!!
My car has been at the service department 3 times now, they still have yet to figure out why my 2022 has no AC and have no had it almost a week and charged me about $500 on the first visit and said it might get refunded. I would not recommend them due to the fact they cannot figure out the problem and only time I get an update is when I ask.

Stopped in on a busy Monday for what I hoped would be a simple problem. Service department was slammed. Service rep walked out to my car with me and showed me the quick solution. Made my day! Thanks!
9.2.24
The problem showed up again, but the simple fix did not work this time. Appointment, tech analysis, part ordered, part installed. Thru it all, Sebastian (service manager) was a great communicator and customer focused. Problem solved, and a great experience!

Kia reached out to us via mail a few months ago asking to buy my wife's Sportage SX. We went in to entertain the offer. I researched the NADA value of our vehicle, expecting an offer a few grand below listed value. The salesman worked hard to find a vehicle as we fell pretty hard in love with our Sportage, and we were thinking about moving up to a Sorento. I asked what they were going to offer as a trade, so we weren't wasting our time. Instead, we were given the typical sales tactic of finding a vehicle we liked first (fine, I expected this.) When we found a vehicle we were interested in, we were given our offer which was roughly $8k under value. When presented with the offer, I showed the salesman the NADA value of our model and options. He had zero idea what NADA was, and another salesman said, "Yeah, they used to send us a little black book with vehicle values." The salesman then tried to gaslight me with the value of a base model Sportage from KBB stating that I was wrong. We thanked them for their time, but we were going to decline. From there, the salesman kept texting my wife saying things such as, "Well, you came in looking for a trade, so why won't you work with us," and "Why don't you drive up to look at a Sorento SX we got in stock." We kept declining, but he kept harassing my wife to the point where I had to call and speak with a sales manager to get him to leave us alone. We had a great experience at the Clarksville dealership when we bought our Sportage, and we've always serviced our vehicle in Bloomington. I have very high apprehensions of every returning to this store even for service due to the way this salesman handled the whole situation which is disappointing as I served in Korea in the Army, and I very much want to support a Korean brand. Hopefully this message reaches out to let people know that Kia is a great brand, but I would used extreme caution at this location. - Army veteran and car enthusiast
Edit: You cannot reply to comments on here, but you can modify your original post. I attempted to supply my wife's information to sales person Darnell only to be asked to remove this review. When I asked why I would remove the review, my message was ignored. This absolutely underlines the shady experience we've had with Kia Bloomington. The information is under my spouse Mercedes for her 2020 Kia Sportage SX.

Worst customer service ever experienced at a dealership service center. Terrible communication and would not take responsibility for their own error. Service manager was also not reponsive or helpful.

Brought my Kia in without an appointment because there was issues with the TPMS, and Gene and the team had me squared away and back out the door in less than 10 minutes - thanks, Gene!

Our salesman, Jake Hoffman, went above and beyond to make sure we had a safe and reliable vehicle. We live closer to Terre Haute, but the deals at Community Kia beat anything on any lot closer to home. Definitely worth the drive! We are loving the Outlander PHEV we purchased. Would definitely recommend Jake as a salesman as well as Community Kia overall!

This was the best experience I have had of taking my vehicle to get serviced and that includes other dealerships and mechanic shops. I am so glad that this is the dealership closest to me.

Front to back, everyone was great to work with and gave me a competitive price, especially being an out of state buyer. Kel and the finance team were all providing regular updates on my vehicle at all stages.
Bear with them as they are working with a tough third party title company and their finance manager had unfortunately recently passed away, so sometimes processes took a bit longer. However, Anna was great at working with the title company, being patient and understanding of me freaking out not knowing where my title and registration were haha, and keeping me updated. Awesome dealership, would buy out of state again!

Overpriced. Telling me i need things done when i don’t. Said i needed wheel bearings when the issue was just sway bar links. Tried to charge me $1100. Then they said they couldn’t fix a recall because they couldn’t start the vehicle bc the ignition switch was bad so they wanted to charge me another $500 to fix that. By the way it is illegal not to fix a recall. But then I show up to pick up my car and I started it immediately. I don’t recommend bringing your Kia here at all. They’re clueless.
