They never answer the phone. Good luck trying to ask a question

Very unsatisfied with our experience at Arlington vet. Would highly recommend trying elsewhere, for your pet’s sake and your’s. They haven’t always been a below average vet, like this place literally saved my dogs life when he was a pup so i was as loyal of a customer as a business could possibly get. Although I’m still very grateful for what they did for my family, there’s been a huge shift that started when the guy running the place retired and his children took over everything. It’s not the same, at all. We’ve been trying for almost 2 years now to get rid of an ear infection but we can’t because we are given such a small number of antibiotics so the infection begins to clear up but we run out. So they tell us to make another appointment… this has happened at least 4 or 5 times! It’s obvious what they are doing here, 2 years and thousands of dollars later we’ve realized it’s way too good of money for them to give us the amount of antibiotics we actually need the first time. This place is trash compared to how it used to be!

Money hungry crooks, couldn't get my dogs medicine because I missed one appointment. They run this place like a doctor's office just to keep you coming in. Can't even get in the door without paying. I'll be going somewhere else. Stay away.

would do lower if i could. they don’t answer their phones, you always are getting the voicemail and then takes a day or 2 to get back with you. when we first started going i liked them. but towards the end it just got worse and worse. would not recommend to anyone

The staff there are friendly and always treat my cats well. The rooms where your pet is seen are cleaned right after a visit, and there is no pet odor like there is at some vets.

I used to love this place. But it’s done nothing but steadily go down hill since their Northside location burned down and then Covid happened. Now, it’s impossible to ever speak to anyone on the phone. It takes forever to get any sort of call back. They’re in no big hurry to answer the door. There’s a general feeling now that no one actually cares about your animal, they only seem interested in collecting fees. Any sort of issue or complaint is met with aggression by their staff. And if, by some miracle you get your issue elevated farther up the ladder, you’re gonna get a lecture about how this is all your fault. If you can be patient and wade through all this nonsense, you can occasionally get good service. But taking your animal to the vet shouldn’t be this stressful, difficult, or this combative. Please go somewhere else.

They would get a good review if they actually got someone to answer the phone. I’ve been trying to get my dog his vaccines for a month and no one has answered or called me back.

They seem competant and friendly but it's a busy practice and it can sometimes seem like things can get lost in the shuffle. Just today on the treatment form for our dog they suggested they could begin regular adequin injections for her joints...but they've been prescribing her adequin injections for the past several weeks already. Not a big deal if I was talking to the vet in person but when I have to take a drop off appointment because you need your dog seen soon it makes me worry if they are missing important information. But the staff has always been friendly and helpful and I don't know how much of this is up to them and how much it's just the veterinary situation in Bloomington. Before COVID we always went to small individual practices that we loved but last year in Syracuse, NY we had to drive 1.5 hours to find a vet that had any openings soon. It may be that this is just the situation with veterinary care now. I know I've seen a similar change in my own primary care physicians.

I have never been fond of this place, and today's experience with the owner assured me that I need to find some place else to take my babies. For some reason a couple of months ago they started to send notices for appointments to a different address, have called numerous times to try to find out why but never get an answer. Stopped in today and was talking to a young lady about it and she told me she would need to talk to whomever was receiving the notices in order to fix it in the system. I proceeded to ask how the mistake was made and why I was not called or asked to verify the change in the first place. The owner ended up coming over and getting nasty and rude like I should not be questioning them. Does not say much about them as a vet if they can't even keep the records straight.

The staff appears to be friendly overall, but some of their members are definitely more competent than others. My last appointment, I waited for over an hour and they completely overlook my puppies rash that I mentioned and showed pictures of, and received no advice. The rash ended up only getting worse warranting a follow up visit that cost about $75. You can tell their team loves animals, but if you are looking for consistently good animal care, you might find better elsewhere.

Amazing and compassionate care. They have been my vet for 15 years and I am so grateful for the care they have provided. They are super busy, but they still manage to squeeze everyone in and not compromise the level of care.

The medical care is great. I can NEVER reach them on the phone. Which made it pretty impossible to see them during the pandemic because you'd have to call to let them know you were there. I always had to go knock on the door.Even though it's seemingly back to business as usual, I still can't get a hold of a person when I call.
