They lost my business. I had IMCU for years and auto loans, credit cards, personal loans, etc. It’s like they hold your money ransom. My debit card had “suspicious activity” on it on a Friday afternoon. I literally stopped to get gas and it flagged it…but the branch was already closed and so was the customer service number. Do you think ANYONE called me over the entire weekend to ask if it was a legitimate charge? NOPE. Called first thing Monday morning, after having to go all weekend with no money and get it reactivated. I decided that day I was done. I transferred ALL of my accounts to Navy Federal Credit Union and couldn’t be happier!!! They don’t even have a branch near me and the customer service and support is outstanding.

I've been a member for 20+ years and they still want to put a 7-business day hold on my money. I've had multiple car loans and even my mortgage with them, all of which have always been in good standings, but they still insist on holding my money hostage. I understand being hesitant to new members or repeat offenders but there is absolutely no reason to place a hold on my money. One of our vehicles needs a new transmission and I don't even have access to my own money. Apparently, non-members can come cash check for a small fee and walk out with cash but when a loyal 20-year members does the same thing, they hold your money. It doesn't make sense and it's a disservice to your members.

Went into the branch to explain a mistake made while activating a credit card and the teller’s response was that that was the dumbest thing she had ever heard. Should really watch how they talk to people. Will never return to this branch. May look for new bank altogether.

Went into the beech grove location this morning to open up a account with them and the staff acted as if I was casing the place all eyes were on me I look like any other person this morning walking into the bank and when someone finally attempted to help me after waiting for what seemed like eternity because of the awkward feeling they gave me the clerk acted as if I was bothering her and not very people friendly whatsoever so I just walked out didn’t know we still lived in a stereotypical world anymore since anything and everything is offensive these days but I wouldn’t recommend this institution to anyone friends or foe

DO NOT allow your loved ones to bank here!!!! Rudest manager I have ever encountered in my life. My mother was a long time banker here and became terminally ill. The state social worker advised me to go down to the bank to find out there procedures of what to do with her account once she passes. The women shut me down before I could even start a sentence. No compassion, no sorry for your mom, only "you need a death certificate before I can say anything to you" I have been a general manager of a high end restaurant for 24 years and if I EVER spoke to a customer this way, I would be terminated immediately!!!!!! Insult to injury my sister all the way out in Texas, calls the 800 number and gets a very sweet person who answers all of the questions we had and did everything this manager said she couldn't do!? I understand policy, but anyone who has gone through what I'm going through in losing a loved one, knows that this is a very stressful time and deserves some compassion and understanding. With so many banks out there that strive on customer service, I would NOT want this person representing my business. At the very least I would strongly advice some sensitivity classes!
