About White River Humane Society
White River Humane Society is a wonderful place described as the best shelter. The staff are exemplary, lovely, helpful, super helpful, very helpful and knowledgeable, and very communicative. Their love and care for the animals is shown in their intentionality. The facility is well cared for but small. They carry so much on their shoulders caring for these animals day in and day out in a non-stop physical and emotional job. The adoption process is smooth with a quick response time, and they want to ensure each animal will be a good fit. They have lots of very sick kitties, which is not for lack of love but usually a lack of funds. They need help. It is recommended to adopt from this shelter.
