“Dr. Frank goes over and beyond for her patients. There is not enough time to say all the good things about Doc and how she treats the animals and the time she puts in, which is over and beyond exhausting. She truly loves fury creatures; and her "house kitties" are the best(first pic)! Love it when they come up and sit on my lap and visit with my fur-babbies!! Too sweet. Like a welcoming committee. We have been going to Dr. Frank for something like 15+ years and dread the day she decides to retire. She is even cognizant when treatments may become pricey and will help find alternatives if needed - have even gotten long-term meds through Canada so they would not break the bank! What I may respect most about Doc is that if she is not be sure of something 100% or doesn't feel comfortable with what she is seeing she does not hesitate telling you that, then following up with you. To me, that is a true sign of a professional.”
“Dr. Clayton is truly an exceptional veterinarian. She has a remarkable ability to understand and address the unique needs of each cat, providing high-quality care that consistently goes above and beyond. Whether it's a routine check-up or a more complex health issue, she approaches every situation with both expertise and compassion. Dr. Clayton also excels at explaining care options, clearly outlining the benefits and limitations of each approach, and being transparent about costs as a factor. We have a medically complex cat who began experiencing serious health problems four years ago, and Dr. Clayton's commitment to staying current on the latest cat health research has been so helpful. Biscuit has remained happy and healthy thanks to her cutting-edge knowledge and care. Beyond Dr. Clayton, the entire staff is phenomenal. They are efficient and professional while also being so personable. It's evident that everyone who works at the Cat Hospital genuinely loves cats! When it was time to euthanize our 17-year-old cat last year, I couldn't have asked for better support. Dr. Clayton was kind, empathetic, and deeply supportive. She took the time to have difficult conversations and was truly invested in making it a peaceful experience for everyone. It felt as though she and the staff were grieving along with us. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Clayton and her team, although I definitely try whenever someone brings up cats or vets!”
“I called a few weeks ago to get my two dogs groomed here for the first time. The girl I spoke with was super sweet and friendly, she sent me the paperwork I needed via email, I sent her the vet records and my appointment was set with a very smooth process!! Today I took both my dogs in, was greeted by a very friendly girl at the front desk, had two girls come get my dogs, super sweet as well. Picked my dogs up a few hours later and couldn’t be happier, they smell so good and are clean and fluffy!!! Made my next appointment to see them again in 6 weeks. Would highly recommend them!!!”
“This exotic vet takes all my pets! They've taken very good care of my six pets for almost 5 years. From my cats to my rats and then my snake. They take very good care of them all. While they aren't taking new clients, I would recommend them to anyone. They have the best bang for your buck, and listen to any concerns. Appointments are given in a timely manner.”

3613 S 18th St, Lafayette“Dr. Bair and the staff at WEA have always been incredibly supportive and friendly. We have brought our pets here for a decade and trust them with their care. We have had two unfortunate euthanasias in the past, and the staff was so wonderful and grieved with us in our losses. Wonderful people. Highly recommend if you're looking for a vet to trust.”
“The doctor there is great. He diagnosed my cat quickly after I had taken it to a different vet days before. The other vet had no idea what it was. They were very reasonable with the prices. Take your pets here before you go to Purdue.”

2840 Schuyler Ave, Lafayette“We had to make the tough decision to say goodbye to our 17 year old Maltese back in July. Dr. Keenan did everything she could to help us care for her the best way possible but we still had to let her go. They gave us the time and space we needed to say goodbye. They were kind and gentle. They didn’t even charge us. We have since got a puppy. They just love on our Holly like she’s their own. They are quick to respond to issues. They call back quickly. They’re easy to schedule appointments and polite. I would highly recommend.”
“Excellent care. Very happy with services. However Customer Beware: this clinic is extremely expensive for all services. $304 for cultures, $111 urinalysis, $30 “pedicure” = nail trim w/o fur removal. Just be sure you can afford to come here.”
“New to the area and decided to give this office a chance. Extremely pleased with the entire visit! Genuine care for animals & customers. Excellent staff! Everyone was friendly and made me feel as if I was a regular! This was one of the best/easiest vet appointments I’ve ever had. 100/10 recommend.”
“We have been using Blair Animal Clinic for 13 years for our 2 cats. The veterinarians and staff have always been friendly and taken good care of our pets. Very happy with the clinic.”
“Not only had I lost 2 dogs last year, but my husband passed away in early May of 2023 and one of my very best friends passed away about 2 months later. All there is left is my lil Micah dog. He got very sick at Christmas and it has been a nightmare for me ever since. If not for Dr Baker and her loving heart and expertise, I probably would have lost Micah by now. What we thought was a foreign object ended up being a swollen gallbladder. We are treating it accordingly. My whole point is, Dr Heather Baker made time every time I called to get us in. She (and all her staff)have have diligently loved and care for my Micah dog without hesitation. I would never take my animals anywhere else (especially not Purdue). Dr Baker is loving, caring, and the absolute best. It's unbelievable how many people put such terrible reviews but no one puts good reviews. Thank you Dr Baker for all your love and support.”
“Dr Heather Baker and her whole staff at the clinic have cared for my furbabies as if they were their own. I could never recommend anyone better!!! My poor little dog got very sick at the start of the year. At the very same time, I got terribly sick. After what I thought was the worst year of my life (2023), 2024 came at me like a plague. Dr Baker worked diligently to care for my little guy and, thus, saved my life too. I know it sounds dramatic, but, you just never know what a person is going through. Trust me when I say, Wildcat Valley Animal clinic (Dr Baker) is a top notch veterinarian clinic that really cares!!!”
“My dog Zoey woke up unable to use her legs, and VCA got her in that day. Dr Cross explained everything, and gave me an estimate for the exams and x-ray and that’s what I paid. Zoey needed an MRI and Dr Cross said he would call around and give them a referral. I thought it would take a couple days, but half an hour later, he had gotten us an appointment in Fishers and sent all her records, and we had the MRI the next day. The staff were all great especially the vet tech. My dog is very mistrustful around men, but Dr Cross extremely patient. Everything was explained very thoroughly, and I never felt pressured into getting expensive testing. I liked it so much, I will be switching to VCA as her primary vet clinic.”

“This was an absolutely amazing vet! I usually go to a different vet but they couldn't see me there so I called Banfield. They set an appointment for me right away that day. I am normally apprehensive about taking my dog to a new vet but the Dr.s there made me feel comfortable. They were amazing and helped me more than I expected that they would or could. The appointments are affordabe and the staff is amazing. 5/5 paws!!! Thank you Banfield, my 14 year old puppy is feeling better already. These tail wags are for you!”

“We have tried several other vets in the greater Lafayette area and Creekside takes the cake! They are attentive, kind, timely, and quick to fit you into their schedule. I always appreciate their follow up calls to make sure everything is ok after your visit.”
“Over the last 15 years, we have had multiple experiences with the staff at the clinic caring for our old lady pup, Abby. Dr. Susan Fraley was the on-call vet when we took our Abby girl in for help last night. Dr. Fraley was extremely helpful in diagnosing the disease that our old girl was suffering from and was kind, compassionate, and caring when we made the heart-wrenching decision for our girl to go over the rainbow bridge. We will be forever grateful for Dr. Fraley and her staff's passion for humane care for our old lady pup and ourselves.”
“My partner and myself have two visits, one was for unfortunate circumstances. Our first cat we adopted had a illness prior and we fell in love with Blackjack so quickly it was hard to hear the issue. Dr. Kotani & staff was so understanding to the fullest! Because the adoption was only 4 days new we were taken care of very well! She emailed the animal shelter right away and unfortunately they had to euthanized him. We adopted another cat, and brought him back for his check up. They dr and staff were so loving and understanding and took care of our new cat just as well as out first one. Thank you to Dr. Kotani & staff for the love and support!”

625 Harrison St, West Lafayette“This review is for the orthopedic specialists at Purdue Veterinary School and Small Animal Hospital. Our dog, Pancho, had corrective surgery on 1/10/24 to fix an angular limb deformity. Our experience with Purdue was incredible. Thank you Dr. Kim, Dr. Rochat, Dr. Nelson, RVT Anna Ihrie, and Rhett McCutchan. You all took such good care of Pancho and of us - and now he is on the road to a better quality of life. Pancho developed an angular limb deformity during his first year. At first his paws just looked like normal dachshund mix paws - but it quickly became clear that his paw was not growing normally. We took him to a specialist near us who said it would take three separate surgeries to correct the deformity and would cost ~ $10,000. Obviously, this was not something that we could afford, but more importantly, we did not want to put our little guy through three major surgeries. We then worked on giving him the best quality of life to accommodate the deformity, such as using a stroller, so he could still enjoy longer walks, pain management with heat pads and massages. But around his fourth birthday, it became obvious that things were just going to get harder for him as he got older. That's when a friend told us about Purdue Veterinary School. She had brought her dog who had a rare form of cancer here, and said they had an innovative approach to fixing complex health issues. So we drove 2.5 hours down to Lafayette and met with the orthopedic team to see what options we could explore. We were pleasantly surprised when they told us that they have done many surgeries like this before, and Panchos paw could be fixed in one surgery, and it would cost us less than half the initial price we were quoted! We set up the appointment and were eager but also nervous as this would be the first time Pancho was getting a major surgery. To say that the team at Purdue was spectacular would be an understatement. We were very nervous about the entire procedure, and they took extra time and care to answer all of our questions, and reassure us that Pancho would get the best care possible. They have a huge team of orthopedic surgeons and board-certified anesthesiologists that would be closely monitoring Pancho to ensure his safety during the almost 2 hour surgery. They called us the morning of the surgery to check in, before the surgery started, after the surgery was completed and would call every evening while Pancho was recovering to give an update on how he was doing. We could tell that he was in very good hands, and that they were giving him lots of love, which made the entire process so much easier for us. They were also very transparent about what medications they would be giving Pancho, what the entire surgery wouldn't entail, and we were able to meet most of his surgery team beforehand, which was really nice. When we finally got to pick up Pancho, they were very clear about his care instructions and continued to call after we went home to check in with us. The entire surgery ended up costing us just under $4000 and Pancho is already trying to use his paw and is in high spirits. We are so thankful we found Purdue Small Animal Hospital and will be recommending them to anyone who is looking for specialty care for their pets. The only piece of feedback that we would give, and this is minor, is that there was a little bit of confusion about which day Pancho would actually be having the surgery. We found out when he dropped him off that his surgery would actually be the next day, which meant that we had to pick him up later than we had planned for. Luckily, our accommodation was a friend we were staying with, so we were able to adjust. But this may have been a little bit harder for those who need to stay at a hotel and are coming from far away. Again, very minor and did not have a huge impact for us, but worth noting for future patients to clarify expectations and timeline around when the surgery is taking place and when they should be ready to pick up their pet. THANK YOU PURDUE SMALL ANIMAL HOSPITAL!”
“I was very happy with the surgical procedure PetsVets performed on my dog when she had cancer. I no longer can take the grief of animals dying so I no longer have pets, but I am so grateful that they gave Chocolate more time with us. Thank you. Brandon Johnson.”
“We adopted our sweet boy from here and the staff here couldn’t have been more helpful. Very knowledgeable people here that clearly care about the animals in their care and finding them loving homes.”
