This Restore is the worst I’ve ever been to. It actually makes me mad going in there and seeing the greedy prices. Vanities that are near full price. Trim that’s 13 dollars. A decades old fridge for 180. They should cut all prices by at least 50 percent. They have stuff in there they haven’t moved for a year. I by? Because their prices are outrageous. Do yourself a favor and visit ANY of the other area Restore locations. Even the one in Carmel has waaaay better pricing.

This is the WORST habitat restore in the area. Why are the prices so high??? This is a charity. Their vanities go for days n near full price. Doors are outrageous. Furniture is a joke. If you want a good deal go to any of the other restores. Literally even Carmel is way more reasonable price wise.

If you plan to donate furniture, it might as well be brand new, otherwise they will not take it. The pick up people were nice but they had already taken half of our sectional to the truck, only to tell me there was a small framing issue on the back of the couch and they couldn’t take it. My wife and I have sat on the couch for years with no issues. Not sure what he was talking about. Fabric was in good shape and we spent all day cleaning it for nothing. I’m sure someone in need would have loved to have it, but I got the impression all they cared about was making money off the couch

We stopped into this restore today. Layout is nice but everything is way overpriced! The restore in Martinsville is so much better!

I tried for a few months to get a scheduled pick up of a large load of furniture. While the staff member was very nice and said it wouldn't be a problem to meet our deadlines, the communication for the actual pick up schedule was really poor. I called and never got a person and voicemails were not usually returned. I also emailed the details to try and get confirmation of pickup. I really wanted to donate to this facility because it was good furniture and a lot of it. Unfortunately, it didn't work. The really sad thing is that the drivers were scheduled and I never got confirmation, so I couldn't meet them. I see other reviews with similar situations, so I hope they can work with staff to improve their communication.

Not impressed at all. Prices are high, junky stuff. Your better off going to Goodwill

Really expensive! This is a resell store. If you are looking for used, look elsewhere. They literally get scratch and dent items from retail stores and sell them for a high price. I’d rather buy directly from retail than here. Really disappointed.

I scheduled a pickup of a washer and dryer from my old apartment on the second floor before I needed to turn the keys over. I talked to the scheduler and explained how I explicitly had no equipment or way of getting these out myself and decided to donate to a good cause instead of trying to sell them. The scheduler knew this and said no worries no problem. There was no other communication from them. Not even the crew to give a heads up that they were on their way. As the crew arrives a bit late, they wait until they are in the apartment and around the corner to where the set is to say that they can’t take them down any stairs and tight spaces due to liability issues. I was able to get the dryer out to the stairs by myself and just needed a dolly. Can’t let me use due to liability issues (understandable). They ask if there is anyone to help me while in the same breath saying they need to leave for the next job (though they arrived at my place late). I’m not upset with the crew that showed up but definitely the scheduler and for no one checking the notes. I scheduled this a few weeks prior to when I needed to be out thinking I was prepared to finalize moving out. This situation has now left me open to being charged by my old apartments for leaving large items for them to dispose of. I really wanted this to have went well but please do a better job of alerting people to your limitations so that you’re not putting people into a last minute bind.

Came here to purchase a ceiling fan or two, nice selection however the fans were a bit on the pricier side. They had some priced around 50 when I've seen them at 18.99 at the Lafayette location. Other than that, staff was really friendly and everything was very organized

Really, nice, well laid out. Cool homemade signs over the various sections. Got some nice furniture, mortar, paint, bucket, and, heh, heh Christmas Decorations. I laugh a little because Google Maps asked me if one could buy Snow Globes there. Uh, what? This is Habitat for Humanity RESTORE mostly for home projects, replacements. Items are donated. You don't normally see Christmas Decorations at the RESTORE. But there they were, and priced right. Volunteers are GREAT! And its for a good cause!

Tried to donate furniture and was treated very poorly by whomever arranges the donations. He talked to me like I was unintelligent and wouldn't talk to me about anything until he had my address. I provided an intersection near my home and told him I had antiques and wanted them to go to a worthy family.I refuse to be talked to like some "little woman." I won't be treated that way and told him to forget it. I'm guessing this is the manager other people have complained about too.
