“Staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. Young man came out to try and check battery. Unfortunately some graduated at the bottom of the class at car design school and the battery placement got designed under a plastic covering associated with the washer fluid reservoir. And then decided to cover all of it with a cross member support. The young man put forth a good effort but in the end was not able to test the battery. Engineers should be required to assemble and take apart things they design.”

“I could not recommend Hare Honda enough! I have made a personal pact with myself now to never buy anything but a Honda. I will still do hours and hours of research before I walk into a dealership though. I was not in a Honda for the first time ever when I bought a car in 2020 and just had to get what I could find that fit my qualifications for price and details. I unfortunately had come to realize how unsafe I felt in that car and that I needed to get back in a Honda with how much I was driving for my job. I had submitted a request for a trade in quote online late one night and decided once I saw the value I could get for my current vehicle, that I was going to trade in my car. I walked in with no appointment to Hare Honda, which I knew could be a gamble since I could not originally get ahold of anyone on the phone. As soon as I walked in Theo greeted me and asked how he could help. I looked at him and told him that I knew exactly what type of car I wanted and that I needed to be out of there in under 3 hours so please give me the best sales person that you've got. (I was on a major time crunch due to said job that I was driving a ton for and needed to drive another 75 miles for it that day.) Theo brought me over to Josh and let me give him my list of optional years on the car I wanted, but expressed how I would prefer the 2023 version. He quickly looked up their inventory and ran out to see what colors he had because they had been in the lot for such a short period of time, that they didn't have the color or picture listed. Josh was jogging back and forth to let me know they had a Red or Silver Honda CRV Hybrid Sports Touring and I told him I would like to test drive the Silver. Josh was able to drive the car up to the front to meet me and I took it on a quick test drive before I made the decision to move forward. They then got me over to their finance guy and got me started over there. I was able to even talk to a maintenance man and ask him about the tires on the CRV. I am a strictly Michelin Tire type of gal, so I was hesitant about the continentals. I looked at this man and asked him if he had any daughters, to which he told me yes and that his daughter had purchased an accord not long ago from here. So I was able to ask this man "would you feel comfortable letting your daughter drive this car, even without upgrading the tires immediately?" He told me that his daughter actually had 2 options for the same car but they had 2 types of tires and he had her purchase the car with the Continentals. I know a dealership is made up of mostly "yes-men" but I did feel like he was being genuine with me. It made me feel very comfortable and confident with moving forward with the car purchase. I know I will upgrade to Michelin when need to, but for now I feel comfortable. I appreciated that they were patient with me asking all these questions and the many others I had (because trust me I ask a lot of questions.) I also managed to be in and out of the dealership in under 3 hours, so if you don't want to waste an entire day buying your next car (especially when you come in knowing every details about the car before you've even set foot in it like I did) you need to come to HareWhen we were nearing the end of my transaction, Josh had informed me that they had not even had the opportunity to take my car through a new car inspection, so he did not want me to leave with it. As disappointing as it is to purchase a car and not leave in it, I appreciated the honestly a lot. Josh assured me he could even deliver the car to me wherever I would be for my job at the time. Even though I explained I would be in Lafayette at the time, he was adamant that he did not mind leaving early on Monday to bring it up to me and then take my old car home. Josh sure did deliver and was incredibly kind and patient while I got to him to exchange keys. I could not stress this enough, that if you are going to purchase a new or used Honda, you need to check out Hare Honda and ask for Josh. Everyone was incredibly kind and p”
“They check you in at the bay. There is no need to go inside and wait in a line for cashier. There is a bench to sit and wait, or you can go shop in store. You receive a text message from the Auto department when the service is completed. If they have a question or encounter a problem with your vehicle, you will be paged overhead. The receipt is detailed. I keep it my car's service log folder.”
