I set up an appointment online after hours and got in the next morning. Everyone there was great. Very kind and gentle to my little one. A very friendly group of people. This is now my go to place. I was very very satisfied!

Our boys, Lewis & Clark, got acquainted with Avon Animal Hospital recently with their first visit with Dr. Meyer. Dr. Meyer's knowledge and professionalism were clearly evident, however, even more impressive was her compassion and obvious natural connection with animals. I highly recommend AHA! Bonus is that their office/clinical staff are super nice and helpful!!!

Highly recommend Animal Hospital of Avon. I drive a considerable distance since I moved to still take my dog to them. I really appreciate the staff at AHOA. Everyone is very friendly and the vets and techs are always caring and knowledgeable.

The staff is friendly and very helpful. Dr. Meyer was kind and very thorough. She took adequate time to answer all my questions. I highly recommend this veterinary practice. We have been clients for about 40 plus years, through many pets and staff changes. Would not take our current pet, Charlie, anywhere else.

My family and I have been bringing our pets here for many years, and everyone at this vet clinic has been wonderful! Kind, transparent, and gentle, never rushing us or pushing unnecessary treatments/services. Everything is explained well and all options presented clearly every time. We have been having behavioral issues with our runt of the litter Tuxedo Cat, Itsy, since we picked her up from a litter here in Hendricks County. She has been seen by several vets at this clinic over the past 2.5 years for her pooping and peeing outside of her litter box. Plus, she has a bad habit of charging at us and if we aren't on guard, she bites us with a vengeance. Dr. Addison said two weeks ago that Itsy has Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC). Dr. Addison expressed her anal glands and sent a prescription for a formulated Gabapentin, in a chicken treat chew, to a formulation lab. Itsy won't eat it, no matter what we try. Last night she bit and hung onto the underside of my forearm. I was ready to take her to the pound as Animal Hospital of Avon had already looked into her being placed with an adoption organization, but with no luck; no one wants her. I thought I would try a liquid oral or injection version of Gabapentin, so I called them to make inquiries about those options. As soon as I said I was ready to take our cat to the pound, Dena, one of the vet's technicians, immediately became rude, verbally combative and would not let me speak to anyone else. She stated she stopped listening when I said I was going to have Itsy Euthanized. All she would say is that she would leave a message for Dr. Addison. I would recommend that you seek medical care somewhere else for your pet's needs. Dr. Addison is good, but you still have to interact with their staff. Plus, look how long and how expensive it has been for us before they finally came to the correct diagnosis.
