Using this facility for the first time I had found the staff to be very professional,warm, and a caring demeanor. They were courteous and straightforward with many questions I had about my pets well-being, and the fees were competitive with other veterinarian offices.

We've been clients of Above & Beyond/Dr. Kanach for 21 years & haven't ever even looked in the other direction for a different vet!
In all of these years, we've seen so many employees come & go...different personalities...different people skills...& while I don't disagree w/some of you that I used to feel like I "butted heads with" one of the girls/she used to come across as a little brash...I will tell you that it has gotten 100 better...to which I TRULY appreciate.
Vets can be pricey...we all know that...you just have to know to ask the questions, get estimates for services, etc...but the peace of mind we have, knowing that our pups are safe & comfortable w/them, & are without any doubt given the best care? Priceless.
They've ALWAYS fit us in when there's been an emergency/urgency/concern for one of our pups to be seen & for that we're truly grateful.

Can’t recommend them enough! Caring, warm, professional, and excellent communicators. I haven’t been impressed with the care from other hospitals nearby. They have really surpassed everyone else. I really appreciate how detail-oriented each staff member is too!

I cannot speak highly enough of Above and Beyond Animal Care and Dr. Kanach. I drive all the way from Carmel to Avon! From the moment I walked in with my beloved cat Leo, I knew we were in good hands. Dr. Kanach's expertise and genuine care for animals are unparalleled. Leo had been experiencing some health issues, and Dr. Kanach not only diagnosed him with precision but also took the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring I understood the treatment plan and felt comfortable every step of the way. His compassion and dedication truly set him apart. Moreover, the staff at Above and Beyond Animal Care is exceptional. They are warm, welcoming, and incredibly efficient. They always greet Leo and me with smiles and make us feel like part of their extended family. Their professionalism and kindness create a comforting atmosphere that makes each visit a positive experience. Overall, I am so grateful to have found Above and Beyond Animal Care. Dr. Kanach and his team go above and beyond (pun intended!) to provide top-notch care for pets and their owners. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinary practice that combines expertise with genuine compassion. Leo and I couldn't be happier with the care we receive here.

Buyer beware! The price quoted the day before the procedure for my dog was less than half of what I was charged on surgery day. They tried to say it was a misunderstanding, but it didn’t seem like it. In the end they did make it right, after an hour of tears, me questioning every single charge, and explaining that I couldn’t pay the bill. Get every single quote in writing and ask questions.

I had an emergency with my cat Millie. I called every vet in 3 counties and couldn’t get her in anywhere! The people at above & beyond truly went above and beyond, the squeezed her in and took great care of my little fur baby. I can’t say enough good things. The staff was amazing and I’m so grateful to them!

Dr. Kanach takes great care of my Beatrice and makes sure that I feel comfortable with all questions. I wish they were more communicative when I call!

Dr Kanach is absolutely the best. I have visited other vets when Dr Kanach wasn't available. Other vets have never been able to do for my animals what this office has. He offers so many other suggestions and doesn't try to influence your decision on treatment. He makes recommendations and you decide what's best for your pet. Example, my cat had an issue that needed to be treated with medication. Through another vet medication was my only treatment option given. My cat had a terrible time, we went to Dr Kanach. He prescribed prescription food for the issue Rather than medication. Totally solved my problem reduced my stress and my cats as well. They are so kind. In my opinion you can't find better service or a better vet!

Seriously overpriced. Gave my dog a shot before telling me and giving me a price. Which was $140. Quoted me $1400 for teeth cleaning/extractions. Found other vets charge around $400/500. Id avoid this place.

I’ve been taking my two cats here for 2 years and it has been an amazing experience every single time. The staff truly loves them as much as we do, and they always get the best care when they come here. Dr. Kaneck is a fantastic veterinarian, the staff is very patient and knowledgeable, and will always take the time to clarify and answers any questions you throw their way. I love taking them here, and highly recommend them if you’re looking for a vet in the Avon area!

Have used Above and Beyond since becoming a dog owner 6 years ago and have had no issues. Recently had my dog’s teeth cleaned. While it was not cheap, I haven’t been able to find anywhere else that could quote less (most were more). I don’t think their prices are exorbitant - I just think you need to be prepared to pay for what your pet needs when you become an owner. They are still doing curbside service which I like. Always call to remind about visits or check in throughout the year to see if I’m running low on revolution. All the staff are friendly and I appreciate their communication. We’ve moved from speedway to zionsville in the last year and I have continued using them due to their care. Would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable veterinarian.
