I was on my way to Lexington, Kentucky, with my three old son, and all of the sudden my car stopped accelerating in the middle of the freeway. I was able to roll (literally a snails pace) off of the next exit of the freeway and pull over. My insurance towing company was going to take hours to get to us and I didn't know what was going on with my car. I didn't want to risk anything more happening to it or my son and I. I Googled auto repair shops nearby and called Westside. Teresa answered the phone and said that they could get to me and tow my car to their location within 15 minutes. Granted, I am not very direction savvy and yet Jon still found us and rescued my son and I. When we got to the shop, they had legos for my son to play with, gave him a popsicle and Teresa waited with us and until my parents were able to come and pick us up. Their honesty, kindness and understanding was so admirable and just what I needed in that moment. I truly believe that God put Teresa and Jon (and Nathan) in this situation because adding a toddler into an already stress and panicky situation, they were the perfect people/company for the job. Jon was able to tow my car to the dealership the next morning. I honestly cannot thank them enough for their help. I was a stranger, am a single mom and the love that they showed us was such an experience. They will forever hold a place in my heart and I will forever thank God for them. Teresa made us feel at home and let my son completely take over her office with blankets, legos and noise. Nathan and Jon were very thoughtful and considerate of my situation as well as helping me feel safe and validated. I HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone and everyone! They are heroes and I will forever be thankful for what they did for my son and I on that scary and stressful day.

I can’t say enough good things about Westside Auto & Repairable in Austin,Indiana. When my daughter’s car needed help, they went above and beyond by towing it to a local Walmart for $78 dollars by John so she can get the tire repaired. This local mom-and-pop shop truly embodies the spirit of community and service. They were friendly, prompt, and incredible helpful if you were ever in the area and you need automotive assistance, I highly recommend supporting this fantastic local business. Keep supporting your local gems !

I wish there was 0 stars because they don’t deserve even 1 star.took my car in to change the spark plugs 300$ later and our car left running worse than when we brought it in. Brought it back so they could fix what was wrong with the spark plugs. They didnt fix the problem and our car was running way worse than before now he told us then it was a bad torque converter and it would be about 700$ just in labor and he didn’t have the time or employees to work on it.so we ended up taking it to someone else to figure it out.come to find out it was a cracked spark plug they put in our car that was making it run bad. Now we are trying to get some type of refund on the 300$ we spent with them and they will either forward my phone calls or just not answer.my husband spoke with them and the lady hung up on us.im sorry but this is not the way people do business and I will be calling the better business bureau! DO NOT TAKE UR CAR HERE

Had a wheel bearing pressed in it took three days. They didn't have to take it off the car I did that. Just to press a bearing out and press a new on in it was 150.00. in a month the bearing went out again. They had it cocked when pressing it in.never go there again.

They took great care of me when the tie rods went out on my truck this week. Very nice and the pricing was reasonable. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Honest and professional service. I wouldn't take my vehicles to anyone else.
