I can’t say enough about the excellent service we received from this dealership. We were in route from mid-MI to downtown Indy moving our daughter back to college when her car broke down on a Friday evening about 5:00. I called and the service team told me they would look at it first thing Monday if we had it towed to their lot over the weekend. On Monday I got a call first thing saying they knew we were traveling and wanted to help us get it fixed right away and that they had already identified the problem, gave us the estimate and told us it would be ready in a couple of hours. Two hours later they called back and it was done. We were able to move her in over the weekend with our vehicle, and get her back to the dealership to get her car so she could safely return to school. Thanks a ton to Cody and team for your excellent service, great communication and care to promptly get the issue addressed. This is top notch service from kind hearted people that we absolutely appreciate!

From what I hear they have a problem with checking brakes before sales , that’s what I had to fix on my truck just a couple months after purchase.

We had an excellent experience at Harold Chevrolet. Robert Potts greeted us and made the experience of car shopping great. Not once did I feel pressured (like I have felt at others dealerships). I told him what I was looking for (an SUV that would tow) and he showed me that and also asked how I'd feel about a truck which we'd have no problem towing with. I FELL in love with a Chevy Colorado and drove it home that day! I'm so glad he listened to my needs for a vehicle, but also opened my eyes to other options. He's funny, real and very personable. The rest of the team we worked with there are also amazing!

All they see when you when you walk in the door is a dollar sign. They were given permission to run my credit at two places. They ran it four times which dropped my credit score. My BMV paperwork was supposed to be sent to the dealership instead they had it sent to an old address. They didn’t even provide the credit union that financed my vehicle my proper phone number or mailing address. This was a horrible experience. I’ve bought two vehicles here. The next one I’ll buy somewhere else. These guys do not care what they do to make their sale!

UPDATE 05-26-2024: My original post is below. Since submitting that review, other things have come to light that I wanted to share.
The day we got our BRAND NEW 2024 CHEVY BLAZER EV was a Saturday, late afternoon. For about a week prior, I had already been communicating with my sales person Robert, ALL the information needed for the sale (my credit app, numbers, trade value, discounts). We thought all we had to do, when arriving at the dealership, (1.5 hrs from our house) was sign paperwork and drive away. We were still there about 2hrs, not happy. Then, when we checked out the vehicle (that Robert said was ready and already been detailed), we found that the detailers didn't do their job well. Even Robert agreed and made a comment that it makes him mad when people spend the money on a brand new vehicle that it doesn't look new.
At about 6pm, an hour after the dealership closed, we finally got the keys. Robert took a quick picture with us, then got in his car and left for the weekend. We did a more detailed "walkaround" of the vehicle to make sure there wasn't anything wrong with it. The Blazer had NO wax on it at all!! You could see the water marks, 2 scratches on the vehicle and the windows were all cloudy (I have pictures). I took pictures and sent them to Robert that evening. His response was, he didn't like being ATTACKED after we seemed happy before HE left the dealership. I explained to him that I wasn't attacking him personally, but his detailing crew didn't do their job. With him being the sales person, wanting to receive an excellent customer review, he should have inspected the vehicle prior to delivery. I wanted him (and the dealership) to provide or pay for a PROPER detailing job. He did talk to his manager and arranged for the detailing to be done locally for our convenance.
The appointment with the detailer was a week and a half later. After the completion of the detailing job, the owner contacted the dealership to find out how he was going to get paid for the service. ROBERT started complaining to the detailing owner that we were 100% satisfied when we left the lot, and he didn't understand what we were complaining about. REALLY???? After sending him text msgs, with pictures, of things we were unhappy with the evening he STORMED home because his shift had ended.
I tried to become a "car sales person" for only about 3 months. I know the conniving things that dealerships and sales people do to "MAKE A SALE!" Then they have the audacity to ask for a 5 star review?? I call BS!!! This is why I didn't make it in the car sales business, because I CARE about people and customer service. If you want a 5 star review, you need to EARN IT!!
Original post - 5 stars: (My sales person, Robert, was EXCELLENT!! He was very personable, fun, knowledgeable and down to earth. We enjoyed dealing with him and would buy another vehicle from him in the future. Highly recommend others see Robert for their vehicle purchases. The only part of the process we were not satisfied with was the detailing of our brand new vehicle. However, after bringing it to the attention to Robert and his manager, they went out of their way to make it right. We greatly appreciate how they handled that issue and would recommend everyone go to Harold Chevrolet for all their vehicle purchases and needs.)

Alex did a great job matching me up with a vehicle that perfectly met my needs. I don't recommend being caught off guard and forced to get a new car in the middle of a road trip, but I'm happy that I drove my dying Ford Escape into Harold Chevrolet.
