I honestly just love this place, 3 Falls Trail is probably my favorite trail in northeast Indiana. It's just a beautiful trail that gives you breath taking scenery. Another one of my favorite things to do at Salamonie is catching a sunset or rise on the dam. Absolutely beautiful! If you live in Indiana or just visiting I would strongly recommend Salamonie

The restrooms are just outhouses there are many lovely picnic areas everywhere. Find the marsh trail and it will take you to a couple. While some other trails offer much better views over the lake. The playgrounds are like parkour courses pretty fun for even me. Take your kids while family even your dogs will be welcome.

This is by far my favorite place to go hiking ... I love going and watching momma with her twins, and today, I got a rare glance at a baby buck. It's very relaxing to go into the interpretive center and see the displays, and don't forget to visit the Raptor display.Playground: Playgrounds are plentiful for your children.Restrooms: Restrooms throughout the park.Dog-friendliness: Much keep dogs on leash.Picnic area: Many picnic areas throughout park.

Great camping and fishing !! It's like your hundreds of miles away from civilization but your within 30 minutes of marion and Huntington. 12 to 15 minutes to the north is a dollar general in andrews for supplies. Great experience!!

We stay in the primitive area and we love it. It's quiet, the campers are friendly, and the bathrooms are clean. We will continue camping here for a long time!!

Great place to camp, hike, ride horses, swim, boat, picnic, and fish. They also have a very nice nature center.Restrooms: They are pretty much everywherePicnic area: Some beautiful places to picnic.

Went in May, water was low as they hadnt filled it. Campground was decent. Bathromms were not good, but okay. Website said all campsites were level sites ... furthest thing from true. Bring all your levelling equipment if you have a camper, you're gonna need it on 75% of these sites.
