About Salamonie Lake
Salamonie Lake is a favorite place for hiking, camping, fishing, and enjoying nature. The 3 Falls Trail is a beautiful trail with breathtaking scenery, and watching the sunset from the dam is absolutely beautiful. The park offers many lovely picnic areas, plentiful playgrounds that are fun for all, and clean restrooms throughout. It is a great place for family, and dogs are welcome on leash. Visitors enjoy the quiet, friendly camping in the primitive area, as well as boating and swimming. The interpretive center with its displays and the Raptor display are very relaxing and interesting. It is a highly recommended park that feels remote while being conveniently located near towns for supplies.

The restrooms are just outhouses there are many lovely picnic areas everywhere. Find the marsh trail and it will take you to a couple. While some other trails offer much better views over the lake. The playgrounds are like parkour courses pretty fun for even me. Take your kids while family even your dogs will be welcome.

Marina people weren't very friendly. Otherwise we had a great time.
