I came in the middle of the afternoon to get a passport renewal, a quick and easy process. They refused to help me without an appointment. There was no one else in the lobby. I decided to fill out the application in the lobby. Another individual came in during this time. I observed while she had her passport renewed within two minutes. The clerk immediately closed the window and decided not to help me. Unfortunately, the attitudes of the clerks reflect this review.

Go online and look up the video of a postal worker pepper spraying a dog through a mail slot in Anderson. DISGUSTING.

Rude staff. My husband and I attempted to get passports and went through the process of scheduling the visit and filling out the paperwork. When we arrived at the building we were met with rudeness. As I tried to explain to one of the employees that we had scheduled the appointments, I was cut off and told that I would have received a confirmation if the appointment request went through. I tried to explain and show her that I did have a confirmation and was again cut off and told "It didn't matter because it didn't show up on their end so they wouldn't be able to help me anyway because they have to arrange for staff to be there" (even though they had THREE employees at the desk in front and we were the only people in there). Luckily we were able to go to New Castle to have our needs met with great customer service.

Not a good experience. My mailbox was full so the mailman took it back to the post office. There was no note in my box. I thought I would wait until the next day and if there was no mail than it was at the post office and not stolen. The third day I went into the post office to get it and the girl said I had 10 days before it would be returned to sender. She went back and came out a bit and said it wasn't there. I said where is it then? The mail carrier probably went ahead and returned it. She didn't know because he didn't put a note. But you just said I had 10 days. It's up to his discretion. No note. That's up to his discretion also. No. he cant do whatever you want with someone's mail. You should have gotten your mail was said several times to me. I told her this happened to me once before and a note was left and I went down and picked it up with no problem. If you dont leave you will be excorted out. As I was leaving I told her that you need to be consistent with your policies. When I got home I called the USPS customer service and she confirmed that the mailman has to leave a note and hold the mail for 10 days before returning it. I kind of think the mailman has my mail. Anyway I filed a formal complaint with the post office on the mailman and the girl at the desk.

Got a picture of the USPS digest mail untouched, after it was delivered (grabbed it not two minutes after it was in my mailbox), my mail had been opened and things stolen out of it and have received no help

First Lady I spoke with was very helpful and professional but as soon as she calls her supervisor he immediately has an attitude and told me there is nobody to speak to about my several missing packages and I have to file a claim online which HE LITERALLY SAID is tedious and probably won’t help me anyways, Very Sketchy Service

COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!! I had my wallet lost/stolen and went to file for lost passport card. I politely told by the agent I had to make an appointment. NO, NO, NO!! My job does not allow me to run "appointment" schedules. If I have to do this I have to miss a whole days work. I do not see where it is my responsibility to be convenient to the USPS. My lunch time varies but is usually 12:30 or after so I figured this wouldn't interfere with USPS lunch schedules. After this experience I reviewed the passport schedule and there is a "walk in" time of 09:00-10:00 on specific days. This is during work hours and set up so they don't have to bother with it. There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON there cant be an agent that is qualified to do passports in the facility. I expected to wait a short time while an agent got freed up to work with me, but alas I was told to leave and make an appointment. This is 2023, there is no reason to make an appointment other than it sets up a time that is convenient for the USPS and not the customer. VERY POOR SERVICE!! I will send it in to the Department of State and I will specifically pay extra for shipping at FedEx or UPS to avoid the USPS.

This is the worst post office customer service I have ever encountered. Dave the supervisor is very rude and a complete liar. They just do not want to do their jobs.
