RIDICULOUSLY awful service - Anderson, IN Safelite locationWe had a small crack in our windshield (lower left side), and Safelite sent out a tech (very nice guy). He told us that he "patched" it, and that the PATCH had a lifetime guarantee (meaning it wasn't fixed, but wouldn't get worse), and if it did get worse, they would fix it at no charge. The crack is MUCH worse 2 days later, and this location refuses to refund my money. In addition, they are incredibly rude to deal with, and a total nickel-dime operation AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I am now filing a complaint against them, and my credit card company will resolve this for me.

The customer service provided by Safelite is severely lacking. The store manager, Daniel Skelton, lacks the necessary skills to communicate effectively with customers. When a technician came to replace my windshield, they carelessly left black handprints on my headliner and caused paint chips on the exterior surrounding the windshield.Despite my multiple attempts to reach out to Safelite for a resolution, the local store has been unresponsive, rude, and unprofessional. However, the corporate office has been pleasant and helpful. Until there is a change in local leadership or proper retraining, I strongly advise against using this store for any services.

The tech came out to replace my rear window on my GM truck. Used a tool that scraped up against my paint and proceeded to chip paint off all around my window. You would think he would stop after the first big chips, but No kept going and have even bigger ones. I reached out to his boss and all I got was excuses that it’s a GM paint issue. If you hadn’t ran your tool up against the paint then I wouldn’t have the chips. Also you stop what you’re doing when you get the first one or two. Not ten chips. I didn’t have them when you got here so I shouldn’t have them now. Daniel Skelton isn’t a man with a moral compass and stand up and do the right thing. Just hides behind excuses. Worst company craftsmanship and ethics. Stay away from them.

I dropped my car off in the morning, and in the afternoon, I had a new windshield. They were easy to work with, and I am satisfied with the service. If I need auto glass service again, I will definitely use Safelite.My car is a 2006 Corvette.

Yeah they fixed a mid size crack in my windshield and it's been great.Worked out just fine.had to replace my old windshield on my 2018 Malibu and I am very satisfied with the service I had done I would recommend them to anybody.

The windshield was replaced as scheduled. And in much less time than we anticipated (2-3 hours). Alas, now my wiper fluid only sprays on the passenger side. This was not a problem before we took the car in for windshield repair. I'll gladly change to 5 stars once this is resolved.

I am pretty sure I was told that having the small chip fixed via “chip repair” on my windshield was covered by a warranty if that chip cracked further. I had a repair done a few years ago and now the crack has grown. I called the warranty department and was told very clearly that chip repair is NOT covered under any warranty. Needless to say, I’m pretty darn irritated…. What the heck????

Unfortunately like others I too did not get any work done. I had an 8-12 appointment. The technician calls me at 8:30 and tells me he won't be hear until 4:00pm. I tell him that won't work. He tells me the manager will call to set up another appointment. The manager calls and instead of doing any sort service recovery starts blaming the problem on my and my need of an AM appointment. He keeps going on about this to the point where I finally had to tell him that that wasn't my problem, and if they don't have the availability they shouldn't offer the time. He then pretty much tells me he's sorry and hangs up. The manager's response to this issue does not give me much confidence in their ability to provide service. Look elsewhere.
