Incredible.
The stories of each of these animals are hearbreaking, but they're all at such a wonderful place for their retirement. The work that sanctuaries like this one do is SO important. This one in particular, is phenomenal. The animals here have amazing, large enclosures. You can tell this was build with the animal's comfort in mind. It is a very peaceful place. The paths and trails are beautifully kept, and the staff are very knowledgeable and kind. A really beautiful, wonderful place to visit.

Changed their hours but never updated their website. The employee with reddish purple hair had a very condescending and sarcastic tone when she explained "we just changed it".
There's no need to be rude to customers when your business failed to properly update the hours online.

my husband and I visited today for the first time and were really blown away by the kindness of the staff, the knowledge they had and how well taken care of the animals are. Zoey took the time to chat about Patronus the Lyger and gave us knowledge into his life that we would've never known had she not been there to engage with us. I do wish there was more information explaing the animals on a map or by the cages so you know what they are especially by the primates.

Very clean, calming, and positive experience that puts the comfort of their animals first. They truly are dedicated to the animals they take in being able to live the rest of their lives in dignity. Their staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

I understand it's a sanctuary, so think of it as a zoo back in the 1700s where perhaps there was little to no animals for seeing.
We went on a Saturday, not a lot of animals were in their displays, pricey for a sanctuary but if you want to support then you'll feel the price is justified. I still would pick a zoo with similar to cheaper price.
Toilets: When you exit building & follow a path. Can see it from there.
Picnic area: Small picnic area as you exit the main building.

I love this park and what they stand for. The fact that they just want to ensure the animals have a good rest of their life is awesome.
