Season begins May 2024! Black Pine is an accredited animal sanctuary whose mission is to provide a refuge to captive-raised exotic aniimals while educating, advocating and building awareness about animal welfare. This 18-acre refuge does not buy, sell, breed, trade, nor use animals for commercial purposes. Visitors can experience the sanctuary through staff guided tours. Nearly 100 animals, including wildcats, bears, foxes, wolves, reptiles, parrots, & grazing animals live at the sanctuary. The site is family-friendly and features paved parking and pathways, picnic pavilions, & more.
