This TA looks like at the end of his life. Restrooms looks like third world facility. No door locks, broken doors. $25 for parking fees isn’t enough to keep anything fixed. Great work BP the new owner
Sorry 3rd world country’s . You are way better. My apologies

I'm at your location 16650 W Russell Rd, Zion, IL 60099. You have truck parking here of about 160 spots. I got here this morning around 5am. There was about 30 semi trucks in your yard out of the 160 spots. I went to pilot and loves first because every driver knows most ta and Petros are run down and charge for parking. We'll I spent the 25 dollars for parking. I took a nap got up went inside to order food from the restrunt. They said the system is down I will need cash so I got money from the atm which cost me almost 5 dollars to use. I went back to the restaurant to order and they tell me they can't open their registers to give me change back. Your staff says it happens all the time. How do you keep your doors open here. I looked over at loves and pilot and their business is booming while your store looks like a huge eye sore with no business. Yall guys have really got to step up your game. Most drivers don't know but the big truck stops get government subsidies for these places pluse tax break because healing goods is important and ta petrol is really dropping the ball. If ta petrol can't keep up they need to step aside and let another company step in and get the goverment kick backs/ taxpayer money for having these places open or ta petrol need to do better.

Paid parking only. $25 or 60 gallons of fuel or $30 in store non-fuel purchase. I do wish they had better/more food options. Parking lot is big. Shower was clean and hot. Store layout is a little confusing. Honestly a lot better than the loves or pilot next door.

Seeing a lot of hate in these reviews. I’m gonna be completely honest, I come through here all the time.
People complain about the parking but 60 gallons (which includes def and reefer if you have it) isn’t that much. OR you can spend $30 on non-fuel purchases (including shop costs). The parking is probably one of the best lots I’ve ever been in. Decently lit, lots of spaces, lines are actually visible. Parking here is a no brainer if you need fuel or repairs. Btw, I’ve been told multiple times that what you spend stacks. So if you get 120 gallons of fuel, that’s 2 days worth of stay. PLEASE REMEMBER (since I’ve seen it in these reviews) you have to go to one of the counters to get your parking validated in their system so when you scan your ticket on the way out it knows not to charge you.
The reason I gave it only 3 stars, while the main building is very clean and pretty nice, the diesel fuel island building is very different. The bathrooms are always in some state of being jacked up. Weather they just aren’t clean or there’s a toilet broken, it’s always something. When everything’s working it’s just dirty but not because nobody is cleaning, it’s like dirty with age, if you know what I mean.
The diesel pumps also aren’t great. Like I said, I come through here a lot, and I’ve had MULTIPLE issues with the pumps. I’ve been lucky lately but I know it’s more a matter of WHEN that luck runs out, not an IF. When they work they work, when they don’t it’s a hassle and I can honestly say I’ve never frequented any truck stop with as many issues as these pumps seem to have.
Never eaten at the restaurant, not really my scene. But I will say that they have a distinct lack of food. Not like they’re out of real food, they just dont really have anything. In a world where loves has they’re cooler section and pilot/flying J has been stepping up their game with more food than just a cold sandwich, I find the lack of AT LEAST SOME real food available to be pretty unacceptable at this point.
If you can overlook or just not encounter the negatives this place is pretty good in the grand scheme.
Oh, and maybe most importantly their shop is 24 HOURS! That’s a dying thing in these days so I both appreciate it as mainly a night driver and just in general. Bravo for that at the very least!

I had to lower the stars. I'm actually glad they gated it. I'm getting fuel here anyways and I know I can always get a spot. BUT I had 2 separate issues that bothered me. First one is I went in to shower but there kiosk was down, so I went to the desk. They said how are you gonna pay. I said I have a free one. I had a receipt that showed I just purchased 70 gallons. She said she couldn't honor it because there is no way of taking it off. ? Sounds like a YOU problem, I purched the fuel, they should of not only honored it, but apologized because they inconvenienced me. I had to walk all the way to loves in the dark! Wasn't happy. Second one is I complaind that they never have precooked meals from the restaurant so I can purchase and reheat in my truck. They said they did a few weeks ago. Why not now then?? Well, because corporate came in so they had to make it look good! ???

S'alright place. Huge parking lot for parking. If you purchase 60gals or more, or spend $30 inside, you get 24 hours free. I paid up front $25 to park for the night. Reliable place for late night parking if you really need it. Didn't try the restaurant, but heard it's good!

I like the people here and refuse to go to the Petro in Racine, Wisconsin because of how poorly I have been treated there in the past.

Always got places to park big lot, paying to park scares everyone off but if you spend 30 bucks inside it's no big deal, never had a bad meal at the country pride restaurant

Scott is a great manager and will go out of his way to make you feel welcome. I needed a place to drop my trailer for a few days and he was very professional.

Do not stop here first all spots are pay spots and it you happen to loose your ticket it's 175 dollar fee to get out. The place should pay you to stop absolute joke TA should be ashamed of their selves. Not like we don't spend enough money at a truck stop. There is a loves right down the road and you know they are free parking. Only reason I stopped at this junkyard is I was completely out of time

While I understand so many places are going to this pay to park scam this place needs to get more inline with the amount they are charging to do. All you have to do is read the reviews from all the people that will no longer come to this and look at how all the surrounding truck stops are full or nearly full on trucker path while this place is empty.
They are being penny wise and dollar foolish.
Get closer to the ten dollar mark and you will still keep the bottom dollar riff raff out that trash every place they go to and still attract those that will spend money here.
While I will stay the night this time I will plan my next route to avoid this place unless they come to their senses.
DO BETTER
