“Hi!Please do your pet a favor and take them here. I drive from Downers Grove because I am so impressed with Countryside. My pup has has an autoimmune problem and they solved it right away (after several vets in my area couldn’t). I also have many friends from Naperville that go here too. You simply won’t find better doctors that care and accommodate both your regular and emergency needs!Hossa says- “Countryside is the coolest!””

“I've brought our Dog and cat here for yrs. They've been so caring and helpful to us. Dr Fourez was so caring, Saturday when we had to send our dog (Energy over the Rainbow bridge). Thanks for making it peaceful. I will always be grateful .”

“I have a 14 year old Pitbull and he is like my child. Ive had him since a dog I Rescued that was pregnant had puppies and he is the puppy I kept!! 14 years later, Critter Care closed and Sugar Grove Animal Hospital, where Dr.Robbins went, was booked up for about 2 months and he had a large cyst on his paw that was starting to bleed. I was very uncomfortable going to a new place. I read reviews about Countryside and they were really friendly and helpful and nice when I called there. Then we met Dr. Schlapp and instantly liked him. He gives you a firm handshake and looks you in the eye and I put my dogs life in his hands. He did downplay the price thats why 4 stars and the place kinda smells and needs a good cleaning. I am used to Critter Care, River Heights, Sugar Grove Animal Hospital, Crest Hill Vet Clinic, all of which were immaculate. So 4 stars for the cleanliness that my husband also noticed and commented on before I said anything to him and the pricing. It was over $1000 dollars. Then I was charged every 72 hours to bring him back for a whole 2 week period to change the bandage. That should be included not an extra $35 each time. It was a simple cyst removal on his paw. Dr. Robbins and Dr. Anderson told me to leave it alone with his age and it was not bothering him but because it started bleeding I wanted a simple slice to remove it. They charged for petty little things and it all added up. The bloodwork pre op bloodwork alone was like $300. Then the procedure was $1000. Then the $35 bandage removal every 72 hours for 2 weeks. Dr. Schlapp looked me in my eye and told me it would be $200 plus blood work. It was way more! So just watch out. You get good care. My dog healed fine. I took him to 2 other vets to make sure and they all agreed. Im grateful they were able to help him, it just was a lot of money for a simple procedure. They are high priced in general. Apoquel is $45 more there than Sugar Grove AH for a month supply for example. When I asked the front desk if they charged more than Sugar Grove AH for rabies vaccination and nail trims, she said " Yes we do so just go there then" I didnt get mad, I thought she was being honest so I said ok and did just that. Dr. Schlapp has been a vet since 1979 I believe so maybe you are paying for his experience and he did an excellent job on my dog so that is why I am even leaving a review which I rarely do.”
